A small army of the Goff Clan, drunk with power over the victory against an equally blood-thirsty band of red oomahns saw within their fallen foes the same hunger for victory they craved. The speed at with the oomahns moved and the viciousness of their attacks were inspiring even to the Orks.

To celebrate their victory, the Orks drank the still-warm blood of the oomahns from the very golden cups their priests displayed like banners during the battle. Little did the Orks realize, but this blood seeping with the effect of the Blood Angels Red Thirst would only multiple their own battle-lust. The mekboys with them instinctly saw the benefits of the turbo-charged oomahn machines and they were red so what could be better? The Warboss Bloodripper and his mekboys used what they could salvage from the fallen angels and created wargear in the Blood Angel images. This new tech combined with the sanguination of the Blood Angel's red-thirst saturated blood created this new off-shoot of the greenskin race to be hence known as the Blood Orks.


My latest creation, the Blood Orks (also known as the Looted Angels) just got back from getting a professional paint-job from Firelight painting at Next Level Painting and will start to see the tournament circuit this year.

1 question are they played as a "counts as" BA army or ork army??

Because they have a storm raven and can orks use a storm raven??

The army will primarily play as a counts-as BA. I am in the process of "Looting" different codice to represent the different ork clanz.

Kult of Speed - Orks
Goff - BA
Deathskullz - IG
Snakebite / Blood Axe - Daemons (imagine camo'd up orks popping out everywhere)

Congrats, you just made me want to strip all the paint off of my orks and restart them. I plan on copying this theme extensively, starting with an actual looted Storm raven this February to go along with my bright red looted Valkyrie.

This is just pure undiluted win...absolutely amazing work you've got here.

I can see alot of airbrushing. The vehicles are mostly airbrushed (red, brown, black). It's really obvious on the Deff Dread. The infantry appears to mostly have the brown streaking down with an airbrush.

I believe Kenny used airbrushing for 90% of what he did. The ork skin hyper-highlighting as he calls it was by hand.

Your army looks fantastic. Love the dark tones that were chosen, they go well with the bright skin! Excellent airbrush work as well.

Mostly a valkyrie with some battlewagon parts thrown in.

awesome work! Seeing all these ork looted armies makes me want to try my hand at one. Quick question, are Ork looted armies tournament legal? would you be able to lay your Blood Orks in a tournament game under the BA codex?
