Hey everybody. Relatively new 40k player here. I suppose it's time to add the "relatively" in front of new since I've been playing for about 10 months now (Spring 2010). I play Chaos Space Marines as my primary army and have a pretty sizeable Black Legion army that I am (slowly) working on. Finances permitting, I will most likely start an Ork army next but I am open to other options as well as long as it's not part of the Imperium. One MEQ army is enough for me. I enjoy all aspects of the hobby including modeling, painting, and playing. I consider myself better at modeling and playing but I'm sure my painting skills will improve with time and practice. I have one major conversion under my belt and my priority right now is getting my army painted and looking good because I'm tired of playing grey legion. I will also be focusing on how to save money on the hobby because I have a limited budget to work with although my situation has improved since I started, especially since I have gotten past the initial investment of buying most of my hobby supplies and the majority of the minis I need for now.

I recently started up a blog called Maximum Heresy. Despite the name, we will not focus only on Chaos. My long time RL friend co-founded the blog and he has a necron army and will be working on both Blood Angels and Traitor Guard next. We will cover all aspects of the 40k hobby but will probably focus more on modeling and painting than anything else. My "one major conversion" is my greater daemon and can be found in the links in my signature. I don't have pictures of the model that are 100% complete but they are very close, about 98%. My 1.5 year old son got a hold of the model while I was sleeping one day and broke the blade off the scythe and lost it somewhere buried underneath something so I have to re-do that little part. I will make a post about it on my blog when I finally get around to re-finishing it. I've been procrastinating something fierce on that particular item.
