Hi,
I have finally bowed to peer pressure and jumped in head first into the world of 40k. I have no idea what I am doing but it all seems fun so far. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks!! I seemed to have inherited an Eldar Army to kick things off.

welcome! Dive in headfirst with your Eldar, and try playing against lots of different opponents so you can get a feel for how your army works
|
Run a whole lot of wfrp and other rpg's, play The Woods and Kill Team, gather and look mournfully at imperial guard knowing I'll never finish enough to use them on the tabletop  |

Unless you have a VERY good grasp on the rules and are reasonable tactically minded then you will probably loose alot at first with your eldar (I did! but I still love them). Once you get to grips with them they are very rewarding
