The name's Alpharius, but Unanything to some and Callum to others.

I used to collect Space Marines, Orks and Necrons (when they were the ultimate army) in about 001.M3 when I was but a whelp, and eventually grew out of the hobby as others came along.

In 009.M3 when I matured a bit more, I re-discovered the hobby when seeing the beautiful stuff GW had brought out in the interim. Although starting on the Necrons again for a short while, I started up an Alpha Legion cell, initially using the Chaos Codex, but then deciding that the loyailst kits and Codex fitted better and was more to my liking. The Ncerons can wait until they are updatd.

I managed to resist all the new, shiny armies GW brought out subsequently, but I succumbed to the Red Thirst almost immediately after getting a glimpse of the Sanguinary Guard and buying a box. While initially not knowing what to do with my impulse purchases, I read up on Gabriel Seth and realised, underneath that berserk ferocity, there was some resonance with the principles of the martial art I practise, Tai Chi Chuan. So, yup, a Tai Chi-themed army, with all accompanying fluff.

Being predisposed to caution and perfectionism, I am slow at getting anywhere but am slowly learning to let go and speed up the process.)

So, expect to maybe see some plogs, homebrewed fluff, fiction, lists and reports.

No worries. Alpha Legion using the Tyrant's list from IA9 (Badab War pt1) is one of the things I'd like to do at some point in the future

Now that would be interesting... and fluffy, with the human auxilia! Shame I don't have access to that great tome, yet. I got myself a Tyberos as a Marneus Calgar counts-as and I'd love to see his rules and that whole thing about lightning claw Assault Termi's as Troops.

Anyways, I posted a 'build-towards' list for my Tai Chi army over on the list page. Feedback is appreciated, as it will be give me a place to start with the miasma of models I have waiting to be put together.
