Subject: Can there be interpretations on Eldar Ulthwe colors?

Hi, everybody. I've got a serious problem on my hands. I'd wanted to do all my models in Ulthwe colors, but wasn't terribly happy about the starkness of just having black and bone - and doing some research found out that dark red was an acceptable color to add to the palette. I've also done a little bit of blue on all of the models just to give them a bit of whimsy. I've included some examples below so that you can see what I'm talking about. Does this mean that I cannot call them Ulthwe any more? If so, I'll need to figure out how I can repaint ALL of the minis I've done thus far, which I really don't want to do. I've got a blog that I've been doing, titled "Beaker's Ulthwe Eldar Spot", and I don't think I can change the name of the blog. I need feedback from everyone as to what my options are here - whether I can call my minis my interpretation of Ulthwe, if I have to repaint all of my minis if they aren't, or if I need to come up with a different Craft World for them. I'd really hate to do this, as I've been using some of the Ulthwe decals as well. I've had one Eldar player tell me that I can't call them Ulthwe (he's in my gaming group), and I haven't had anyone comment on this on the gallery pics or on the blog. HELP!!!!!

It does Look Ulthwe to me the dominant armor color is still Black and White, it would be boring if everything is in a two color scheme right?
but weren't aspect warriors supposedly have their own color?

still looks like ulthwe too me but if you really wanted too make it obvious stick a &$@* load of guardians in your list.
as for the aspect colours ive found most people dont really worry/care about them, though personally i prefer to keep tradition.

Strictly speaking your aspect warriors should still be their aspect colours regardless of what craftworld you choose.
For vehicles/ guardians/Seer's ect you should be okay with black/dark gray's, Bleached bone (or any other ivory-ish colours), white, scab red/ red gore and yellow for the eye of isha symbol.

Although there are around 3-4 alternate colour schemes per aspect - and even then, some craftworld aspects DO NOT USE the 'traditional' colours of the aspect shrine and instead use the craftworld's colours.
I use one of the schemes for each squad (where multiples exist) with a single detail (scarf, ribbon, etc) to tie them into the army overall.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Seconded. If they absolutley have to be ulthwe, just plonk the rune on to identify. Muted reds, Autumn browns agains Bue shaded whites will still look melancholy and will be in keeping with the character.
Anyone who declares you can't play as ulthwe because it ain't black and bone :

It's all up to artistic interpretation. You're reasonably free to do whatever color schemes you want.
I always stick to traditional aspect warrior colors, but you're certainly free to be different.
I think the red robes on the Farseer is stretching the color scheme a bit. Perhaps keep it black and do some of the detail work in red? Either way, it's your choice.
