Hey!
New person. Oh Noes I hear everyone say.
I'll be honest, I'll probably be more of a lurker for a while, but this may change.
I'm a 40K fan, introduced through the computer games series Dawn of War. Never actually played a game, however myself a friend are wanting to teach ourselves/learn, at some point. Sadly my 'army' is a little lacking as I'm more of a painter than a player so most of them have just been bought, put together and, being a procrastinator as well, haven't really been painted properly, if at all.
My favourite race are the Eldar, but I also have bits and pieces from Space Marine's, Orks and the Tyranid armies.
My ultimate goal is to have a decent looking Ulthwé Eldar army and to have a Blood Raven's Space Marine set, not specifically for play (the Marine's), but more for show.
I'm interested to learn how many females like myself are on the boards as I get some rather odd looks when I walk into a Games Workshop or other warhammer retailer and start looking at the models.

Welcome to dakka ! just be carefull you don't end up in a dakka debate about rules when someones being "anal" and reads rules their own way, The game is easy to play and some people on here over complicate things so the rules act solely for them, but i love this site its great!

I agree with the above statements you don't see many girls playing like the one time some girls entered my local GW when I was in the middle of fighting the store manager and all they done was gigle and run out the shop  But anyway, welcome to Dakka Dakka and enjoy the site.

@Tauzor I have a question, you know that long line of text in your sig that has all that info about your gaming and things, how do you do that? If there's a post on the forum that tells me and I've just been a complete muppet and not looked for it, then, well, I'm a muppet. =)
I shall start posting some photos shortly as I've started painting some more now. One good thing, about the ONLY good thing, about being unemployed is I've got plenty of time.
