So please any tips and tricks are welcome. And what would be easy for start. I was thinking using it in my daemon army if that helps

Right what you'll need as a 'starter pack' for tools is your hobby knife, one of those 'probe' screwdrivers (the spike one that is useless, surely you got one in an xmas cracker lol), and finally something cylindrical to use as a rolling pin. For a surface i use cellophane packaging, the type your Warhammer boxes or videogames/dvds are wrapped in. Finally a cup of clean water.
Greenstuff is sticky so first things first put a puddle of water on your plastic matte and plop you greenstuff on it, from here you can roll it into a sausage or sheet depending on what you wanna do. If you wanna just sculpt a detail on something just press a blob of greenstuff on the surface you wanna improve, this may take a bit of effort as greenstuff does not naturally stick to smooth plastic, to stick it i recommend using the probe to tamp down the edges. Wait a round 20 mins and the greenstuff should have stuck down slightly better, then you can work away. Being sure to smooth away any finger prints with a wet tool ( )
If you wanna sculpt an entirely new structure, i am guessing tentacles lol you will need an 'armature' paperclips are your friend here! You will need to envelope the armature in greenstuff being sure not to leave a visible seam, this is where you use your fingers. Once you have even coverage smooth it with your tools, or sculpt some details etc.

I've found this thread to be really handy, I've just started using green stuff and this thread with a couple of practice models have really helped.

Youtube a few tutorials.
Also, have a good idea of what you're after before you sculpt. If you wanna doodle, use a pencil, not expensive green stuff!
Latex gloves are great, as green stuff can irritate your skin a little (it does to me). it also works best if it's lubricated. You can use water, but I prefer to use KY Jelly. It's awesome being as roguishly handsome as I am and wandering into superdrug to grab armfuls of KY, but I digress!
Get some proper tools. You'll get better results. Clay shapers are great - rubber tipped brush like tools, they come in soft and firm varieties. Sculpting tools are a must.
Most importantly, cut the yellow/blue interface in the middle out. Throw it away, as it will have already mixed and cured, leading to lumpy bits.
Try not to cut corners, as it's very unforgiving to work with.

I kinda disagree with sculpting tools, they can be a costly waste of time unless you're serious. I would say if your new to sculpting improvise your tools. Oh and google How to sculpt miniatures or similar, there are a wealth of tutorials, obviously the quality ranges from good to bad but it's all free. Look out for the ones that speak about artistic principles as this is where most people fail, nice details but horrible proportions. #cough#Scribor#cough#

50/50. if you're just playing improvised tools are okay, but if you want any kind of appreciable finish, use a tool. If it's a one off thing, then by all means use what you have, but having proper tools makes it easier to learn and twice as likely to try your hand at sculpting further down the line.

Google is your friend
no use me telling you that clay shapers start at two to three pounds sterling when they may cost more in Finland.
There was a thread about making some shapers from erasers.

Protip: visit your dentist and ask if you can swipe the tools they are about to toss in the junk. after CAREFUL grinding, a few of them can become different tools.
I use a pick with a ground down tip as an applicator for my glue when I dont want to mar the surface of the ting im working on too. (tiny details being glued etc).
This should save you a little bit.
Also, my experience dictates to work slowly and gently
