So, I have finished it.

It was quite a fun model to paint as well as make. And I think it turned out rather well.

I'm not completely happy with the halberd, and some of the greenstuff came out a bit rougher than I wanted (thanks to idly placed fingers and rushed fix-up jobs). But still.

I haven't put snow on the base yet, as I normally do, so I suppose it isn't completely finished. If anyone's wondering why a Carnosaur is wandering around where there is snow, you have to remember that Ogres are pretty single minded. If he managed to tame a dinosaur, he'd want to keep it with him until it dies. That means carting it across the world, over the seas, through the empire heartland, across the Howling wastes and into the Ogre Kingdoms just so that he can show it off to his tribe. And then return to being a ridiculously expensive mercenary.

I think at some point, I'm going find a number of beasts that can serve as mounts, and place ogres on them. I already have an idea for mounting one on an arachnarok, but that may never come to fruition, thanks to the high costs of obtaining such a model.

And finally, the final thing that many opponents/innocent bystanders/nearby wildlife will see:

I hope that you enjoyed this. I certainly did.

And the WiP thread was here.

I love what you said about this model in a previous thread

"why have you got an ogre riding a dinosaur", responce being "why have you NOT got an ogre riding a dinosaur". Looks great and has balanced out better now its painted. I thought it did not look quite right when i saw the intial build but now looks really cool

If your going to do something wrong, do it right!!!!

Thanks for the kind comments you guys. The dwarf way take a while, due to the diifficulty of finding a suitable dwarf model, but I'm probably going to get some rhinoxes soon, so that'll be fun.
