Hey Dakka,

I recently re started playing Warhammer, 40k this time.
I started with the lizardman/britonnia boxed set many years ago, and quit before really getting into the game (i was young and broke).

After playing DoW II and now Space Marine intensively I got so sucked into the background fluff of 40k that I decided I would start again, now that I have the time and financial means to actually support a hobby of this magnitude.

I recently got my AoBR box, the starter paint set with 5 marines, and waiting for a bucket load of paints to be delivered next week so I can start painting in all earnest.

I joined the forum in hope of getting some decent guidance from you venerable dreadnoughts of war gaming so I dont screw up my models, since I dont want to take the field with some shabby painted models, bad army list, or terrible backup fluff.
