so i am not exactly new but i never did the whole intro thing and i feel i might as well do it now or i will never get it done
so hello members of dakka
that and i have a somewhat important question
i am thinking about starting a new army but i dont know which and i was wondering if anyone could help me.
i have got it down to
some sort of imperial marine army
wait for the new necrons
or eldar
oh and i currently have chaos space marines. though i just dont find them all that fun and i cant seem to win with them and dont want to run the obligatory lash list to win
so hi dakka and PLEASE HELP!!!

Eldar - many different themes and a bit different. Crons are being redone so will be FOTM despite the fact that all the minis aren't released yet and won't be until later waves.

I said necrons.
Eldar I think are a bit difficult to use, and are something of a finesse army. If you screw up, you stay screwed up.
Necrons are pretty tough and difficult to put down, and after the new codex should be a bit of powerhouse.

I'd say go with Necrons. They are going to be very popular for awhile since they are the new thing. There will be a lot of Necron threads breaking down strategy and lists in the near future, so you will have a lot of information at your disposal.

I voted for Eldar, because they are an army that never fails to suprise. They're tactical challenging but once you got to basic mechanisim of them, they become suprisingly deadly. And their models are beatiful and a joy to paint.
