Hey all fellows (and gals, too) of DakkaDakka. I'm new to the 40k universe (I'm still actually waiting for my first sets to come in the mail lol) and got interested in it from a friend, Zefig. I'm definitely going to be coming here a lot more as I start to get into painting and whatnot, but I wanted to drop a friendly hello to all

Enjoy the threads, articles, tutorials, project plogs, gallery, and usually genial camaraderie. Make sure you take a look at the few rules that Dakka Dakka has for posting (usually stickied at the top of each forum) to avoid any problems with our usually easy going MODs.
The only other point to make is don't be too sensitive. Like any forum, Dakka tends to allow critique as long as it doesn't degenerate into name-calling. Any opinion or project you post will get looked at and you'll get honest feedback, which sometimes doesn't feel good. It comes with the territory, and you can post just as honestly in reply. Just make sure you can walk the walk after you talk the talk (back up your words with evidence and/or solid reasoning).
