Hiya I thought I'd just introduce myself I am Dan I'm new to this site and well new to Warhammer really I've recently started collecting Warhammer and I am interested in collecting Elder. I do have a few of them one army and a few war boss' and I do hope to have a lot more and maybe start battling.

I'd avoid Wraithguard if I was you, they're very expensive £-wise and only okay in a gameplay sense. With Eldar you can never go wrong with Wave Serpents, Dire Avengers, Farseers, Fire Prisms or Fire Dragons though. They are the basis of most good Eldar lists at the moment

I thought of collecting a army first and then moving onto vehicles and so on ?

What sort of points level are you looking at? 500? 750?

IMO its best to get a bit of everything, so you dont have to paint tonnes of the same stuff at the same time. I'd maybe start with 1 Wave Serpent, 1 box of Dire Avengers and a Farseer, it will give you a nice selection of stuff to paint. Then you can either add another DA/Vehicle squad if you like them, or maybe brance out to try Guardians or Pathfinders.

The only reason I suggested DA's first is that they're the best all-rounder's. If you like them then you can continue to get more, if not then they'll still be realy useful to have lying around
