Hi there, first post so here goes! If there's any formatting that could be improved on let me know.
We have a few major tournaments coming up in the next few months so I thought I'd post my list and see what you think, any feedback appreciated.

HQ:

2x Haemy

Elites:

5x Incubi + Raider
5x Incubi + Raider

3xBlasterborn + Venom (SC)

Troops:

5x Wracks + Raider (GT)
5x Wracks + Raider
5x Warriors w/blaster + Venom (SC)
5x Warriors w/blaster + Venom (SC)
5x Warriors w/shredder + Raider

Fast Attack:

5x Scourges w/HWB
5x Scourges w/HWB

Heavy Support:

2x Ravagers w/lances
1x Ravager w/lance (FF)

The obvious tactic is to overwhelm the enemy with vehicles and units that alone are worth barely anything, classic MSU.

Where are you keeping the HQ's?

As a general rule I'd suggest you get flickerfields on every one of your vehicles. 10 points is a bargain to get a 1/3 chance of ignoring any damage they inflict on you.

The great thing about Scourges is that a squad of 5 can take 2 special weapons. You could just give one squad 2 HWB's and drop the second squad to save points.

Incubi can be pretty expensive, but seeing as you're not running any Wyches the CC punch will come in very handy.

The Wracks and Haemonculi would all benefit from having a Liquifier.

What's your reasoning for putting the 5 an units in Raiders rather than Venoms? Just to get more Dark lances on the table?

Thanks for the quick reply Gorechild.

I should have written where they went, one haemy to each squad of incubi.

I agree on the flickerfields but I wanted to save points and try to expand the army as much as possible. As well as the idea that more vehicles at a cheaper cost provides more vehicles with which to provide cover for others, such as a venom wall or raider behind raider.

It's meant to say two HWB just a typo there, I think you're right in that I may not need two squads of them even with the second weapon being there.

Yea i've played a few games with them and they've been invaluable, I especially like the incubi models no wyches.

Once again the points extra points I used on more units rather than extras, am a fan of liquifiers though.

I went for a style that every AT boat had AI units and vice versa, both dual purpose and I couldn't see the harm in having more lances

Fair enough, having lots of units can be helpful. The way I see it though is that (at the moment) your Haemonculi are basically nothing more than a free kill point and a pain token. 10 points for a liquifier makes the into a threat that your opponent cant just ignore, 1 good roll with a liquifier and you can kill +75% of a space marine unit. It's the same with the Wracks, it changes them from meerely being objective holders, to having a chance to do some serious damage.

If you wanted to drop 1 squad then you could add a few little toys on here and there to make the rest of your army much more potent.

I like your philosophy on versatility. Keeping AI units in AT vehicles, and vice versa!

If you remove 1 of your squads of scourges you will get 130 points over. That is enuff to max out FFs and Liquifiers all over, and still have 20 points left. Those 20 could be put into 2 nightshields if you like to keep your ravagers hugging your table edge, or 2 more wracks to tarpit. One for each squad.

I'd drop the Grisly Trophies - they're pretty 'meh' to your strategy.

Second thought is to look long and hard at those Wracks and ask yourself what you're getting from them (weak assault) and ask yourself if it would be worth it to pump a few extra points into them to get good shooting (Warriors w. Blaster) or assault (Wyches...I said it).

Also, Shredders are pretty gakky, I'd drop that for a Blaster any day of the week.

I appreciate more targets (heck, that used to be the only strategy) but let's be clear on this - functionally if you put FFs on every skimmer in your army it's like you're bringing 33% more vehicles to the game, because you'll be taking less damage.

I'd sack one of those Scourge units to do something with the Wracks (even if it's just a Liquifier each), amp the Haems with Liquifiers, and slap FFs on everything that lacks them. That makes everything tougher and more of a threat so that your opponent will have less things he can dismiss when trying to figure out what to kill.
