I would like to state, that I for one am getting pretty fed up with paying 15 bucks for a finecast model that comes with bent swords/staffs. Anyone else seem to get alot of bent finecast from GW?
End rant
So, how can I fix these models? The models in question are Necron Crypteks staves, which are very thin and very bent so I am afraid to mess with it for fear of breaking them. The others are Necron Lord Staves, which are same as before, very thin and very bent. What should I do?

Cut 'em off and replace with a metal rod. Thin resin parts break easily anyway.

Hot water makes it pliable allowing you to put it back into shape. Cold water/ice/a dip in the freezer sets it.

I had this happen to a couple of my wrack's weapons, just use a hot hair dryer. After 2-3 seconds it should move back to its original shape on its own.

Bent stuff is a fact of life with any resin. Gentle use of a hair dryer is the best solution to your ills

People used to say the same about bent metal, til they found it is a common problem with the material itself and not a major flaw unless broken. It is a price to be paid for any high detail material. So just deal with it like the rest of us have, either fix it yourself or call Games Workshop for a replacement. Whining about it accomplishes nothing.
