The more I look at charr, the more I realize I've been giving Charr too much credit and Asura not enough.
God I hate how the Charr move. My last char will probably be an Asura rather than a Charr.
Even though the Asura are offensively Japanese in the nature of their character design.

The asura are my favourite race to be honest because they are so much more than just the "short cute race", most of them are actually pretty ugly.

Seeing some of the beta coverage, I may get this, however my experience with MMOs has generally been to play them for between 2 weeks and a month, and then abandon them forever. That said, without a monthly fee, that isn't necessarily a huge deal.

The "oh you can just pick it up then play it every once in a while like a normal singleplayer game" line is diluted a little by the hefty price tag...
Still this game is 5 years (I've been counting) in the making, it's worth £50.

Lol I just went on jb-hi to find game prices and basically say its not that hefty a price for a game and its up for pre-order apparently.
Only $79AUS, thats pretty cheap.
