I always valued this kind of conversions, maybe because I use to convert human models that allow only little conversions (Empire or IG style), and you have to chose them carefully to make them really effective. Is not like converting orks or Daemons, that may give spectacular results in an "easier" way.

Here is Scorpion Tyrant, my boss bug of Hive fleet Scorpio. He was probably my hardest model to convert. Not least because I converted him back when the Hive Tyrant was all metal.

Thanks JP. Though Aracna Tyrant's Imperial designation is Scourge Tyrant. Good to hear from you in all this snow we have here, brrrr cold.

That spider tyrant is awesome! For want of anything else new here is a half-assed update to my Diamondback speeder for a counts as land speeder vengeance

Oh man, that has some nice lines to it. Partly thanks to the vengence's horrendous model, but that's an awesome conversion.
Also because I used diamond backs extreamly heavily in SC2.

Nothing painted at the moment, but these are my most recent conversions. Most of them are pretty simple, but I would consider them my best at this point.
I had much fun putting them together. Comments and constructive criticism welcome!

I really like that Warshrine and using the Tomb king woman (I can't spell her name) as a Nurgle champion. That could look really good when it's painted up and very original because Nurgle types are usually fat blokes, not skinny gals.

Lets be honest, at least a few of the crew are either dressed like spiderman already, or think they are

My best and favorite conversion is now the Cyborfex. The dark mechanicum found an injured carnifex and tried to turn it into his own bodyguard, but when synapse was reestablished the Cyborfex was returned to the control of the Tyranids.

I really like that cyborfex. That's sweet.

Love that Cyborfex, and I have really enjoyed watching your whole Hive Fleet grow.

Statuesque Miniatures, I did a bit of greenstuffing around the hair to give her a head band. She was supposed to have more interesting hair too, but the GS cured flatly. Either way though, great model.

Here is my Doom of Malan'tai .
it's made up from spare parts from 4 different tyranid kits. the head, and back carapace are from a carnifex, there two pieces of carapace from the trygon kit, a lot of parts from the ravener kit, and then the arms from a genestealer kit.
so it's made in the true tyranid spirit of reusing biomass it even has a broken marine arm inside the head

really like the dom model although im not a fan of the pose. still cool though

I had some spares from the Forgefiend kit and bought a Heldrake body cheaply off ebay. A visit to the bitsbox later and i had this monster ready to blow up stuff for my chaos marines.
The greenstuffing is still a bit rough but i will get to that with my files very soon.
Hope you like it I call it a Siege crawler.

Might touch him up a tinnnny bit, but he's effectively done.

This is one of my earlier conversions, and getting it to stay together with the wings and model being metal and the jump pack being plastic nothing wanted to stick together well. He is definitely one of my favorites though.

Curious, where did those wings come from??
