The Power Sword looks sexy as hell, glad I went for it now. 2 more days, come on!

The question isn't why do I kill. The question is, why I don't kill everybody.

It does indeed. I think there IS a difference betwen the power sword and chainsword (anecdotal evidence mostly), but MOST of the time it's not very noticeable so they may very well be the same or at most very minor differences (roughly the same amount of hits to kill depending on how damaged the enemy is).

Inventory screen shows they have exactly the same stats, they also use the same animations AFAIK. So, apart from different unlocks (if they are different?) it's pretty much a weapon skin.

I read it has its own animations, either way it's the coolest looking mele weapon by far.

Irrelevant. Inventory screens that don't provide actual numbers for damage in game are notoriously inaccurate.

Look at Call of Duty as an extreme example.

power sword is the same in actual testing, it seems a little bigger and may have a bigger sweep but thats pretty impossible to test.

Oh, is the horde mode going to have split-screen, or is it online only?

That's what I thought...poop...

Why can't more games have Combat Training similar to Black Ops?

*le sigh*

Anyone tried the assault marine with a bolter and power sword? That was going to be the combo I'll be eventually shooting for as I just think it looks pretty damn cool. If anyone has unlocked it, how does the bolter feel with the assault marine? Useful or like tits on a bull?

It's awesome, especialy when you unlock kraken bolts.

Thunderhammer or Poweraxe/chainaxe are better then the sword though (IMO).

both hammer and axe are easier to dodge than chainsword and power sword.

I still haven't gotten the hang of the assault yet, I am way better with the tac so far.

This, I find the Chainaxe is only really effective against Devestators who can't really dodge.

I've found "umad" Grenades (Blind Grenades....) with the Powersword, Plasma Pistol, Impenetrable, and Death From Above form a deadly combination for the rare times I play ASM.

I go with power sword, plasma pistol, combat stimulants, power swordsman's zeal, and impenetrable in my primary assault class right now.

Any tips/advice?

You might have to call your ISP if you got your modem from them. If you're lucky, the company left you the instruction book for the modem but that doesn't always happen. How did you try to change the settings?

Wow...it will probably take me a week to unlock all that stuff . I am usually 7th or 8th in the matches I play, so I'm sucking on the XP track!

Its better than having your console konk out on you two weeks before the release like mine did and having to wait a month for the repaired one to come back! Half glass full, Ruckdog!

I can't find the site that gave me the instructions now, but I had to manually enter in my IP and Router numbers and then go to my laptop and change the router to open...but I couldn't get the PS3 to connect to the internet after putting the the info (yes, it was entered correctly)...I think I might have found a more helpful site though...

So true grit feels super useful for assault, I love having a full bolter at my disposal, as well as excellent mobility and melee options.

Plasma cannon is lulz

Indeed, capturing and defending points gives you quite a bit of XP.

THQ companies tend to love using the capture point system to its full potential.

I wish it tracked your K/D in Seize Ground, oh well.

I would play annihilation, but I think 41 kills for 8v8 is a bit low, not to mention I'm not a huge fan of just TDM; much prefer some other objective as well as killing.

As in total? Because it shows you after each match your K/Ds for Seize, least on 360.

Yea, I meant total. I know it shows per match :p

I went 20-3 with the plasma cannon on the Waste Treatment level last night, lol. Love how all the people pack into that central point.

So how does friendly fire work (or not) in multiplayer? Does the host toggle it on/off when setting up a match or is it just off period? My question is specific to consoles (xbox) as I expect that the PC version has more options.

Well, in the games I've played it seems off by default.

Except on yourself! I've managed to blow myself up with the plasma cannon plenty of times, lol.

FF is better left off in this sort of game, if not you'd just have kids ruin it for everyone by intentionally team killing.

The question isn't why do I kill. The question is, why I don't kill everybody.
