Whatever "theme" I use, even the "print-friendly" one, seems to have a background color behind the text, even if only a very pale one.... Is there a way to copy & paste into a Word file so I can print the text on a blank white page without removing other formatting?

Possibly stupidly yours,
Sydney

Well, if you check out Sister Sydney's homebrew/expansion rules, you'll find all kinds of units the Sisters could have, that fit with the theme of the Sisters (as a tabletop army) perfectly well, and are damn-near-perfectly balanced.

I’m updating that fandex now & I’m eager for feedback on new home-brew units for the Sisters: Sororitas Bikers, infiltrators & Novices, tanks, flyers, characters, superheavies, Frateris Militia, and now Confessors and Battle Conclave characters

Ummm...I get no background color in my word. But at any rate the "format painter" might be your friend... I love that tool for standardizing text I paste in from random sources.

Like watching other people play video games (badly) while blathering about nothing in particular? Check out my Youtube channel: joemamaUSA!

It varies quite a lot from browser to browser. Many will not print any background colours, some require it to be turned on, some turn it on by default. All I can advise is that you do some googling to determine settings for your particular browser I'm afraid.

Google Chrome has an option when you print to include background colors (it's a little check box in the print dialog). You should look into that browser.

Huh. I'm using Chrome but not trying to print directly from my browser because I don't want anything but the text.... with the italics, is the problem: otherwise I'd just strip all formatting.
