Alright, every one knows the bad: prices like comparing the storm vermine to a plague monks box for weight and bitz , company policy, that Wench that now heads GW legal and GW for hireing her. Fan interaction, LBR sites and that thing they call the LBR6, quality of some minis, not fixing defects or failing to recognise that there have been defects, i could go on..... and on...... and on......

but what was good? Well i found dakka, and as its part of the hobby as much as anything, im happy about that.
New skaven army book as its my army of choice that makes me happy.

This year (hell, its only been my second) has made me really look at whether I want to support GW or not. I've looked around, and to be honest, I just really like GW's story and their mini's. That's what I game for: the story and the hobby. So, this year they have succeeded in those regards. The new minis continue to be the best anyone is producing, and 40k remains the rich sandbox that it is.

However, I do understand and despise what they've done to the community. They've pushed me out of Games Workshops and into independant retailers.

Since the Imperial Guard codex severed my interest in 40k I'd have to conclude that it was a bad year for me and GW.
