Mount meningococcal or what ever that Icelandic volcano was called tried to delay them, but it looks like I passed my reserve roll in time for the second month ;D!
Also I've finished a small special weapons squad, so I'll get some pics of them up on Friday

Just a few of the really adeptus looking robed figures. Should fit into the army reasonably well.

Couldn't find it - someone probably grabbed it from my house thinking it was theirs when they were over here, so I just grabbed another one.
OH and... a Canadian who speaks French and lives in New Zealand, but uses a Japanese flag for his dakka profile. CONFUSED MUCH ?

Haha, I know.. I was just teasing a close personal friend.
With that Defiler, I'm considering making a Knight. Does anyone have any links to others people have done with WIPS, or any ideas they could help with on where to go with making one? I'm really keen to hear peoples advice

A knight's basically a mini-titan, usually employed by the adeptus mechanicus.
I'd say they have roughly the armour/firepower of a Land Raider, but they are larger and have void shields and close combat capability.
Even so, good luck with yours proximity, I love knights and I hope yours goes well (be sure to imperial it up a bit!). However, I'm sorry but no knights spring off the top of my head.
Although, I did just go looking and found this: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/257382.page#986967 which I think looks quite good, bar the head and square edges IMHO.

Very very nice stuff guys, reminds me of the way my group finds motivation. Painting by peer pressure!
As for your search for Knights, here is a link to my take on the subject, now in the painting stages:

It´s not done by a long shot, but getting closer every tuesday. (I have so little time for hobby stuff right now, sigh......)
I started off with a defiler as well, but went with some plasticard and GS work for parts of it. Other people have used more defiler bits with good results as well.

Really stuck for what bases I should use.
I've narrowed it down to one of the following 4 ranges:
The Iron Halo ones come in a considerable amount cheaper than the rest, but each time I look at them I'm a bit put off by the inconsistencies, one minute it's tiled flooring and cogs, then its just giant cogs, then its wood. It's just a bit all over the show and I don't know how much consistent painting could bring that back.
I've based an army on their bases in the past, and could only use 2/3 of the particular theme I chose, if I wanted it to look consistent.
The second pic look okay, room for a bit of metal and rust effect, but I'm not overly joyous about the brick.
The third pic I'm not very sold on, I think I would have to add some slate to it which is probably a fair bit of work. Not a lot of height to them either, although its bad for gaming purposes; I quite like a little bit of height in the base.
The fourth pic I think is sneaking in as my favourite at the moment? It's reasonably clean looking, a little bit of metal here and there for some rust, very consistent looking, what are peoples thoughts?
I'm pretty stuck for ideas, haha!

The Dragon Forge stuff is great quality; I like the second and third of the ranges you've linked (good stuff on the bases but not too over the top).
I made a Knight from a Defiler and a Sentinel--still need to add the finishing touches! It's not too hard (especially for someone with your skills) and looks pretty good.

"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Thanks for all your help guys. Looks like the big decision I now need to make is whether I go for that 4th option, or a mix of the 2nd and 3rd.. definitely some food for thought!
Now, Jimmy has given us some updated pictures of his eldar! Unfortunately he confused "make the size of your images smaller" with "make the quality of your photos really terrible!", so instead he provided me with MASSIVE RES pics at a very low quality ! I've done with them what I can, but I'd love to get the opportunity to take some much better pictures. I love the wave serpent so much!
