Yeah, I've been pretty lax in updating the blog and the boards recently. I've had a lot of good and bad personal issues to deal with in the past month and, with Adepticon coming, have not had much impetus for Inquisimunda. It may not look like it, but the write-ups are a lot of work to create and maintain and there are a lot of times where I have to force myself to write and get gak done.

I will say that the new listings and updates are on the horizon and will come out, at the latest, right after Adepticon ends.

Additionally, once all that is done, I'd like to have a little contest (both here and on the Inquisimunda boards) to see who can build and paint the coolest team. I wouldn't expect too valuable a prize but it will be something nice and the winner will be able to brag about it!

I'll have a more detailed post within the next few weeks and hopefully some news!

Thanks for all the positive feedback!

Sounds cool but will need three years at least to make a team.

Assume you won't give me that long? pretty please?

Look forward to the entries though, there is some superb work on Dakka at the moment, am sure the standard will be excellent!

I would really love to get into this, but I can not access any of the links on your site. Are you in the process of updates, or is there an issue?

I can still remember when a box of 30 Space Marines was $30.00. Now THAT'S old school! In fact, I started playing in the Rogue Trader days...yes, I am that old. Played Warhammer Fantasy for years before Rogue Trader even came out...

I'm able to access them fine.

Some people have had issues in the past with not being able to see them on a mobile device.

I still can not access the files, and I am using a desktop. I even created a Google account, signed in, and I still can not see them. I keep receiving a "Page can not be displayed" error.

I'll keep trying...

I am confused if Inquisitor gangs can have xeno models in the gang? Sorry if it is easy to tell and i just missed over it... i want to make an Ordo hereticus

The only Ordos team that can take Xenos as warband members is a team with the Radical Ordo Xenos specialty. Some other Ordos teams can take Xenos as Hired Guns.

The Xenos Strike Force PDF is now available in BETA format. Additionally, I've added optional rules for Marks of Chaos to the Rules Addendum.

Great stuff, love how you define each race. Issue with last page, you have the "*" on special weapons but what they refer to are kaptains and other units from the Pirate list.

Also, is there any thought of adding in races such as Tyranids, Necrons, or maybe a "make your own alien" type of list?

Happens when you copy & paste from another list! Another user pointed it out as well and it'll be fixed on v1.0...

Genestealers are in the Species and Races list, as are Necrons. I don't think I'll do any further Nid creatures as there's just not a big calling for them yet but I'll consider your opinion. Also, yes, there should be a "build-an-alien" entry in the future, similar to the one in the Inquisitor ruleset.

Thanks for the feedback!

Really love the way you've done this, it's really clever and flexible. Thank you for all the hard work that went into making this amazing resource. Just wish I had a group to play it with!

Thanks I'm glad you like it.

Everyone's welcome to post their ideas, questions, and comments on the Inquisimunda forum. This helps me get a feel for what players like, want, or need out of the system. Even if you don't feel like posting to the Inquisimunda forum, keep the comments coming here!

Enjoy!

Well, I finally got around to updated the Chaos Covens & Genestealer Cult lists.

Additionally, there's some updates to the Species and Races list....(Jokaero....)....speaking of which, I did notice there were currently no rules for Necrontyr in the S&R listing. I could swear I did some but they WILL be in the next update.

Way, wayyyy too much times on my hands right now so I've been perusing the Inquisimunda PDFs and doing some general housekeeping of the files. So far, I've gotten around to the following:

Species and Races have been edited and now include some more Tyranids and 3 different Necron models
The Expanded Armory (which I thought was done) also received some edits. Mostly stat changes for the Assault Cannon and a long-awaited correction the Shuriken Catapult. Also, the addition of some more Gauss weaponry and Jokaero Digital weapons
The Legendary Armory is now up! This provides rules for incorporating special Daemonic, Holy, and assorted Xenos weapons into Inquisimunda and are entirely optional.

More info (and some Arbites WIP shots) below:

Nice stuff. The only problem is that the species and races document opens when I try to open the expanded armoury.

I really appreciate all the work you put into this, by the way.

Thanks, as I mentioned on the Resources page, your Jade Vessel blog here was what got me interested in writing the ruleset in the first place.

Is it possible to simply save it as a PDF for offline viewing?

edit: I've found a kludgey way of doing it via getting a google docs account, saving it, then downloading it. Is there a simple download button while anonymous that I didn't notice?

I'm really glad to see this all compiled into one polished document. I have to say while I found the previous individual submissions really cool, I found it a bit cumbersome to shift between the different documents. I'm looking forward to reading this one front to back and seeing if inspiration strikes for a new faction, or maybe just get some ideas for a campaign!

Since you already downloaded google docs, there should be an option to just download next time you open a file like this.. Seriously, though, you should be glad you are using google docs, it's the best. The file sharing is great for fan rules like this, or game companies that offer free rules downloads, you can just share the files with your friends or gaming group so easily.

Looks really cool so far with my late morning coffee persusal. I'll have to bring it with me to the FLGS and see if the Mordheim crowd that just recently died off and the 40k necromunda zombie-ish crowd (a homebrew necromunda/40k homebrew group) would be interested in this. I'm all for using my existing 40k miniatures for no additional profit for GW!

Hi guys,

Thanks for the feedback. I enjoyed doing the compiled pdf.

If you made some fitting artwork or have fitting pictures of good painted miniatures etc. that would upgrade the document, just let me know.

Beside that, if you have found any glitches, typos or anything else like that, same as above, let me know, so i can update the pdf.

regards,

Dennis / SiamTiger
