It's not them snubbing us(intentionally or not), it's the release not being impartial while not telling us WHY Xbox players have to wait nor giving us an estimate of when it goes live that's peeving.

And as for the apparent policy, have you never wondered why 360 does not get MMO games as oppose to PS3 and PC?

The answer for this is because XBL costs money, as do the DLC we purchase this means companies often come into conflict with microsoft with regards to billing policy, with many companies wanting to make their services accessible to silver account holders (Who dont pay subscription) hence microsoft turn them flat down, this has had to many delays with games with online features int he past and has cuased some releases to not come out at all.


Though now that you mention it actually acting on bravado doesnt seem too much of a bad idea...

Ever heard of an Online Pass? I think a game called SPACE MARINE had one. It's 10 dollars if you don't buy the game new.

Well, unrelated to the debate, my thoughts so far.

It's laggy. Probably due to so many people trying to connect at once, so I done a few rounds with a a friend, two-manning it.

It's god-damn hilarious. Standing on top of a rock with a heavy bolter, mowing down hordes of Orks just feels RIGHT.

Especially when I'm using my Crimson Fists Sternguard armour setup.

The ME2 Cerberus pass was supposed to allow people who brought the game new and received the pass (Same way as SM) to access all the DLC free because they bought the game new.


Suffice to say this was untrue....

Well no, actually. When I said they were crap, it was because they did not appeal to me as a gamer, but they did have large followings online. The companies who made them were not well funded, and were competing in a WoW dominated market. Its not a case of console MMO = fail. Well, in phantasy star online it is, but for the rest not so much. But trolling for the sake of it ain't fun for anyone.

Square Enix is a massive entity, and Warner Brother studios is owned by movie giant Warner Brothers. I fail to see how two of the largest game publishers are "Underfunded".

And anyway, I played these games, and I didn't like them. I know this is totally anecdotal, and is irrelevant, but that may help you understand where I am coming from.

I was referring to NCsoft, Phantagram, Trion World Network, Undead Labs, Crowd Control Productions etc. I don't see why you would presume I referred to two giant companies. Fail indeed.

NCsoft isn't underfunded per se. But yes, the others were completely underfunded and didn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

So, yes. Fail by me.

MS has some pretty excessive requirements for allowing anything to be downloaded on XBL.
so other networks that do not require a bunch of back and forth are likely to always get DLC from vendors first.
This is assuming that the DLC wasn't finished beforehand (like when the game was released) and just sitting around waiting to be enabled.

Who cares, just give us the damn dlc and we'll be happy MMO's have NOTHING to do with this.

And my absolute pro tip: After blowing myself up with it twice, plasma cannon is not that efficient.
