The quality of entertainment is subjective, and has always been such. Feel free to mentally add the statement "to me", IE, "lifetime sucks to me" after statements such as that, as I feel no need to add them because these statements should seriously be pretty obviously be seen as opinions rather than statements of fact...

The blatantly obvious implication in my statement is "lifetime sucks to me".

I was just annoyed that monster rain made a comment that actually agreed with her and she presumed he was being a douche, he really isn't a that bad a guy.

I feel that there are enough “women be crazy” posts on this thread so while I am a dude I will be giving a “some dudes are crazy too” example

First some back-story and context
*clears throat*

For the last 10 or so years of my parent’s marriage they had only one income. This was my mother’s paycheck as a middle school English teacher. On this sole method of income she supported a family of six (father mother four sons). It was her paycheck that payed the mortgage on the house, then my father took out a second mortgage on the house in order to open his own business which he ran into the ground. This left my mother supporting a family of six on a teacher’s salary with a mortgage that was by this time much greater than the house was worth. Though he contributed nothing to the family (in way of finances) my father still saw fit to turn up the AC whenever he was of the mind to do so or turn up the heat instead of putting on a sweater.
For years my mother has been buying her cloths at thrift stores and the Salvation Army in order that my brother’s and I would have new cloths for school every year. And yet one day after coming back from the Salvation Army with a couple pairs of slacks my father saw fit to comment on the fact that “we don’t have a lot of extra money to spend on frivolous things” and went on to demand that she return them.

Even writing about it makes the acid rise in my stomach and brings a flush of anger to my cheeks.

My father funded his failing business for 3 years by paying his workers on repeated mortgage extensions and credit card loans without even telling my mother and dismissing all attempts at earning money while raising 4 kids she made as her "trying to do a mans work".

My Father returned from his tour(s) of duty in Vietnam with a serious drinking/drug problem and a seemingly insatiable desire to beat the gak out of everyone in the house.

My Mom left him shortly after and I've not seen or spoken with him very much since.

....Obviously I'm quite aware that Women aren't the only gender that has the "crazy market" cornered.

Looks like me and you can add daddy issues to our list of evidence for me somehow being a time travelling clone of you or visa versa.

Well, that was more of a joke than anything. My dad's a patronizing dick and my mom is a people-pleasing doorstep who sacrifice a fair bit of self respect for the public image (I blame her for the depression that I went through over the summer). We get along time to time, but I'll be more than glad to be far away from them when I'm done my education. They themselves are not horrible people, but we're about the most conflicting personalities you can imagine.

Don't worry, Fanfir. Everything will be alright. Which is not what you can say in my situation.

My father has ADD and is home for 4 hours a day, so he is no help. My mother has OCD and a severely small fuse. She once broke down my door to say good night to me. These 2 are hypochondriacs as well, believeing that me getting a C in one class will ruin my life for all of eternity.

My mother is also probably manic depressive, but that's another story.

Another thing I don't understand about the opposite gender is when they look at you and you ask. "Uhh may I help you?" and then they blush and keep staring at you. Even if you ask them to stop. It aggravates me sometimes. But I can deal with a girl staring at me if she is hot of course.

The girl that is looking at me, is a girl that I kinda like as a friend. But she has to be way out of my league
If I was allowed I would show you people what she looks like. But I don't think dakka would allow me to post pictures of school girls XD
Anyway the girl is fine, her friends freak me out and yell out loud "I am lesbo." on the bus sometimes. And I poke my head over the seat of the bus.
