That looks super epic, how did you keep it from just tipping over though. I would expect it to be very top heavy.

It's not too bad actually. The tree is all pretty light wood and the wings are plastic so the only real weight is in the metal dragon which is mostly pretty skinny and long as dragons go so it's not so heavy. The head is about the biggest metal part and it's good and low anyway. The tree is wired to the back corner of the base and I think all the weight pushes diagonally across the square so it works out well.
The hardest part is keeping it away from my kids as it's too big to store easily.

Posted this in a couple of other places, but I'll toss it on here too. My kit-bashed librarian with a few minor conversions. Namely, the head of the saff, which I'm quite happy with.

I much prefer converting up some characters out of bits versus using a stock figure. Another example being my Captain:

It would probably look like a CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT filled with Orkmarines- see, you can't loot a CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT when the CRASSUS ARMOURED ASSAULT TRANSPORT loots you first.

Did this guy last week. I bought a Marineer, which I really wanted. But I needed a Rover more. I was stumped on which to build when my wife said, "just magnetize them."
