Hmm, this is a great idea but i dunno if anyone in the Uk or possibly europe is involved? I'd have read the whole thread but it's a bit of a tl;dr situation

I can paint a specific chapter, or if someone gives me an idea what they'd like i can do homebrew..here are some of my DA pics to give you an idea what my painting is like...

These particular models aren't up for trade as they are part of my DA army..sorry!

Both actually.

Either way works. You can hunt down one of the people that has been very active, or try someone that hasnt participated yet. BBL and Sageheart have been doing alot, may be a good spot to start.

i would do a mrine swap when i get my order of a battle force! it should be coming in a week or so, i ordered it through a hobby store i like cuz they are mad nice, but it means it takes much longer then going thru GW. they will send out the order on monday and then it should be coming in by friday hopefully sooner. i then have a bunch of trades to make, got to get a marine to an00bis and also do a special trade me and BBL have been working out. but i would totally trade a marine with youthen, just sorry for the wait.

what kind of marine would you want? i do two chapters, sons of luther and Sons of Talitha. one is yellow and one is blue respectivefully. i like the blue marines a bit better, but either is fun for me to paint. if you pm me and are willing to wait we ccan work something out!

Hey Sageheart , If you like a particular Model Store you should add them to the store map, I've been adding stores here in NZ and leaving notes about service, ranges etc, I figure it might help noobs find decent places to buy models n' such.

UK right here, actually WM if its not too much work then maybe you could put countries on the master list because, not being selective or anything, I would prefer shiping within the UK or maybe one big package to the states, cost wise cos hey. I'm only 16 and don't have a proper job so...yeh.

But Omas, I would love a fancy DA man similar to the chapter master (with a weapon that fits a sternguard squad please...If possible a combi-flamer. I know its kinda picky.
I'll get you a CF then if you want it. Oh and can you either put on a Inquisition pad or leave theleft shoulder pad bear. Cheers

Not yet. I will have one mace left over, and I think I will use that.
All the heads are already zerker heads, but one backpack will be a DA one (the chaos backpack broke off a long time ago)
If you would like a bolter, I can do one (that would be helpful for me actually, b/c I am missing a specific sided chainsword, and if I give that guy a bolter, I won't have to scrounge up a replacement arm)

I think Tony_nids_10, like myself, is a bit lost in a new army full of conversions at the moment.

Part of the reason I had to bow out of the Great Marine Swap was it was taking up my modelling time and I wasn't able to work on my non-marine projects

I still check every day to see the new marines and all the great homebrew chapters and colour schemes, its a fantastic way to see a ton of different techniques and styles.

Keep it up battle brothers! I hope the GMS lasts a good long while

Thanks BH, and yes I have been overly consumed by my new SM chapter. Oddly enough I started this chapter as an alternative to the one I was going to do for the GMS! As I have mentioned to BH and WM360 more than a few times (sorry for saying it again) I have a new job that eats 12 hours a day on an alternating schedule, 3 kids and a wife that eat up most of the other 12 hours in a day I'm amazed that I have time to sleep at this point much less make a new SM chapter. Thankfully there are some amazing folks here on dakka that have helped me out more than their fair share. Arakasi (and anyone else interested) head over to either the two Emperor's Shields threads in my signature to check out the progress on the chapter that will eventually end up being here on the GMS once I get it going! That said, BLACKHAND is going to be getting the first E'sS off the line!

Seconded - though I have, finally, got round to blocking in all the base colours of WM's little dude. I've been frantically building the Legion, and also got distracted by resurrecting my WM Pirates. And, at some point, I'll actually paint my guard

You can only get it if you lives in somewhere other than the US and ordered something from GW online. it was free.

Heh i think you got that wrong BBL they are limited edition models that they make for only a short period of time. They made both of does when i wasent in the gaming or painting business. I got some rare models my self but i have always love does 2. I can post rare models if you guys would like well at least the ones i have

And, true they were limited edition. The only way to get them was to spend a certain ammount of $ on GW's site. I was there when it happened.
