Thank You guys, It has been a great fun to paint this figure and a lot of effort too, I'm really glad You enjoy It.

About the painting skills: thanks a lot, I felt that something was better this time, probably the number of Nobz I did previously helped a lot

Probably getting slower from now on, waiting for a supply drop and working on a side project as well, We'll see

Good heavens Selv, how did I miss commenting on this? (and I did vote, you should have a score now)

I absolutely love the modifications you've made to the KFF. The little electrical wiring loopy bits connected by the chain are fantastic. The fact you painted hazard stripes on a cable is nothing short of completely bonkers. I wouldn't have made the choice to put the light blue corrosion on the bits, but I would have been wrong. It looks fantastic! And unlike mine... your ork skin is really bleedin' good. That's a winner all-round my friend!

Thank You Git and Squidbot.
Git, I've seen the last Mekboy You did and the skin is not bad at all

I'm in a moment, miniaturewise, that I feel the urge to do something different, I painted and built orks all my 40K life and now I may burn out, so I started something new, this is giving me an opportunity to test myself in a totally new adventure.

If You are interested in INQ28 or You just give a shout or advice, You're welcome.

Nice use of bits in that deff conversion. Are you going to have fixed arms or a set of swap-able limbs?

Thanks Git, I'm really hoping so

I don't know yet exactly what I'll be using, but I think that some wheels from the SM bikes and plasticard will be two components, let's see how I'll manage that.

Thanks everyone

The CCW were built for this, but I have a question: Where is the best place to put them?

I started the tracks, missing all the working bits between the wheels and the back panel to detail.

C&C appreciated as usual

It depends on a few things. The first thing that comes to mind is the relative sizes of the arms and the body. As they are ccw, they will need to be able to reach beyond the front of the dred and most of the way to the ground (again that's practical thinking on my part, I can't help it).

The obvious attachment point that I can see is the round (I assume the hinge point for the battle wagon jaw thing that it appears to be made of) part just above the tracks. This is where I started thinking about how long the arms are, if attached there can they reach to attack something in front of the dred and can they reach over the tracks to something at the side?

You could always build a box or scaffold-like structure out over the tracks from there, to attach the arms to if they need to be wider...

I can also see a square indentation just above that point that would make a nice attachment point as well, either for support struts for the arms below or for attachment for the other pair of arms (that I believe this should get) which will hold the ranged weapons that do not need to be close to the ground...

Just some ideas that grabbed me immediately, feel free to ignore any or all of them.

This is an interesting little creation indeed looks like the grots have been routing through the Mechs bits and boy did they have fun.

I was trying to figure out the track wheel set up (when you mentioned it ) for some reason I never considered a triangle formation which in turn looks pretty cool.

How are you intending to detail it further though ? Will you be adding between the tires or on top, I only ask as I cant see much room between the tires for detailing or at least without over crowding.

Maybe some drive belts connecting the tires would work, either way looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

I see Dr H concerns as to placing of your CCW, the issue you have here is anything with claws, saws, pincer ect are going to have to be on the lower section of the model.

This means everything else as to projectile weapons need to be placed at the higher points of the model, this obviously is to create a balanced model and make sense of the armoury and placement.

However I am sure you have considered all this before hand, I just have concerns that the model could end up looking bottom heavy which also would alter the overall look so far.

As to the mounting area on the model I am a little lost as to where ? I think your work is great and I normally have a good idea of your direction, but to be honest this time I am struggling a little as to your final look.

Not where I should be

Firstly........................AWESOME

Secondly, not sure you will like it but I would be tempted to go with the CCW high, coming over the top, like servitor arms. Kinda like the mega gargant of old epic. But I like cluttered, and crazy look.

Thanks for the replays and compliments (also the ones for the Mek GiraffeX).

I like the idea of Cam actually and that was already in my mind for a while, but an other spot is the gap there is between the tracks ant the front....

need to take a look of It tomorrow.

Thanks again and keep give suggestion guys, I really appreciate It and, of course, I need them

@ Meatshield: thanks! No way I'm going for easy stuff

@ Awesomesauce: thanks as well, the CCW are my favorite bits actually, a lot of effort and went into them

Now...
I checked the possibility You suggested and then I decided to raise the main body a couple of cm to be able to put the CCW coming out between the tracks ad the front.
After that I started the belt drive fabrication, i need a lot of weight on the tracks to keep the beast balanced
The main body will be bent a bit further, It's just a dry fit atm.

C&C appreciated Boyz
