My FLGS just knows me as 'hey, you're that brown tau guy!' because I did a game against Tyranids last year, and by the end of the game, half of the tourney players were crowded around the table. I won by just a single squad of pathfinders without a devilfish. Damn, tervigons are hard to kill in CQB.

Allways remember that scatter can only go half the way backwards from the start scatter point. and that its not full str unless the middle of the template is on it. So really, that cant happen.

When you realize that crisis suits, the ultimate unit for tau, isn't that great.

Piranha TX-42 is great for that. Crisis suits with an AV, basically.

Or plasma broadsides, since you'll have hella points left after getting rid of your XV8s.

When you hold your Monolith in reserve along with a full squad of 20 warriors and by turn 4 it still hasnt arrived... turn 5 comes and the Monolith gloriously arrives to find the rest of his team has left already.

when your friend who plays ig, fires 2 blobs of flashligts with First rank, second rank into your 8 man termie squad totally busts his rolls and only does 9 wounds and you roll 8 1s and 1 5.e for their 2+ saves....

Can you tell me where it says the scatter can only go half the way backwards from the start scatter point? I'd like just to have this rule on hand if it ever came up. I can't seem to find where it says on under "Blast" on page 30.... that being said I am a pretty poor reader and skim more than anything else lol.

while playing a necron on necron battle, turn 9 rolls around because EVERYBODY KEEPS GETTING BACK UP!

Also, in said battle you can only watch helplessly as your Necron Overlord beats himself to death with his own face because the the opposing Named Lord (Trazyn) continuously uses Mindshackle Scarabs on him
