well, concerning colomba there is little doubt you will miss it totally as here in germany it its ever in a sort of rerun...til eternity^^ but our family recently (about a year or so) bought a digital recorder, so know we cant miss anything worthwile and even the not worthwile crap thats usually filling the program...

I think it has cross generational appeal. The joy lies in the intricate and devious ways the murderers concoct their crimes and then the equally devious ways Columbo talks them into a trap...

i think it is something to do with the total different surroundings and the things colombo learns and how he tries to blend in, thus giving the viewer the chance to see new ways of life, hobbies and things in that manner, he is an icon of tv civilization...sounds odd but peter falk is an institution. cant think about tv and my youth without him...not to derail even further but even more impact had mac qyver on me...there where times when i wouldn´t leave the house without swissknife and tape...sounds like i am a serial killer...

Ahh, that's OK if it's Columbo taking up your time I always thought he was making Mrs Columbo up, but then saw a couple of episodes in which other people talked about her - think there was one on a boat and one where some other cops mentioned her.

That eunuch's got some awesome eyebrows, I reckon he's a distant relative of The Hood from Thunderbirds. And you really should have put a handprint on one of his cheeks

Thankyou - I think it works rather well -she is inspired by the gothic fashion. Red, black and purple were pretty much team colours back in college amongst the goths and metalheads. If she was wearing a tee-shirt it would have 'cradle of filth' or 'motorhead' written on it...

You're really good when it comes to painting those Necro minis... Especially the girls!

Some nice acquisitions there, I love the way I keep seeing mini's I have owned for years (sometimes decades) getting painted up whilst mine are bare metal, primed or have a base coat. Doesn't make me feel slow at all Those Inquisitors turned to chaos I think, have to dig them out but fairly sure I gave one a horn from his forehead and ripped an arm off the other, have a couple of those ad-mech, I know they're still bare.

I believe that's a Blood Bowl Dwarf by the way.

Those poor rare minis, stuck unpainted in boxes, arms ripped off. Horns stuck to their heads. Its like the toy mutilating boy in toy story!! No I take that back cos you do such fine work with the mutilations. But you should get some out and paint them.

Oh update. (monkeytroll you will be annoyed again) I have nearly finished all those orlocks. Just got highlights to add. Will have to wait till morning as having a film marathon and drunk again

Good luck on the COF logo - as a youth I could barely get a proper 'Anthrax' logo scribbled onto my grade school notebooks. But subsequently at art college I made a specialty out of studying black metal logos, they're quite fun.
Even if the music tends to be awful.

Seriously - a plain old anarchy sign here and there would definitely harken back to the old Rogue Trader days, I recall seeing plenty in the old White Dwarf Golden Demon photo spreads.

Anarchy symbols definitely As Ambull says, they have a real old-skool feel on minis.

And Miss Dee, I don't remember the cyborc one, that's one I will have to look out for now

Generally I don't Most of my collection is from back in the day. I'll occasionally have a flick through e-bay, but I know that I'm liable to just start a spending spree I really can't afford when I do that (Same as most of us I suspect) Something like that grabs my interest though, so I'll have a few trawls sometime when I'm feeling flush.
