The act of opening a wine bottle with the blade of a sabre should really be considered for a command sprue pose. It is as awesome, as it is atmospheric and appropriate to the Grognards IMHO.

Hell man, he has a power fist. Rip that dang cork out (careful not to rip off the top of the bottle).

Sabrage, that's the corret word for it. You smash the neck of the bottle off with the sabre, a tradition dating back to Napoleon Bonaparte's campaigns. I think it'd suit the Grognards quite well for obvious reasons. You could just thumb the throat of the bottle off with the powerfist to a similar result. I imagine powerfists to have excellent power moderation control when functioning correctly. You'd sort of need them to.
On the cavalry note, those Afgans look great! Looks like they'd make great irregulars, in many armies and periods.

Looks like the Boxer Rebellion minis will be able to work for fantasy or more modernish settings. Looks like I’ll have to throw some Wing Kong henchmen into the Urban Manhunt arena.
If you're going to make Wing Kong you're going to need some Chang Sing for the good guys' backup. Maybe even a magician with a six- demon bag.
I hope the Boxer kit does really well. There's a real lack of Chinese models from so many interesting time periods, it'll be nice to have access to one and go wild with conversions!
Somehow or another I want to turn some of those guys into hopping vampires...
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!
I’ll likely get my magicians from Malifaux and my Storms from Flying Frog. Not sure where to get a trucker with great reflexes.
Looks like the heads and maybe the bodies are right for the hopping vampires, with the right paint job. I hope there are enough extra heads to outfit a box of Fireforge Mongols, not just to make Yuan Dynasty troops but also because those Fireforge heads are cringe. (Might use a couple for some Wing Kong guys, though...)

I believe that's a Bren? WW2 British coming?
That arrow looking thing might be a Plumbata (or however that's spelled)?. Possible Byzantine/Eastern roman kit?

That horn can only mean one thing: they are making the mariachi bandit from Muse’s Knights of Cydonia video. The Boxers will give us Shaolin Flair, and I can only assume Unicorn Valkyrie will be forthcoming.
...oh no wait. This mini is wearing a shirt.

Historical Gurkhas. I'm hoping these will marry up nicely with whatever sci fi bits I have left over from Death Fields Grognard and Brits for an additional project.
Boxer Chinese.
Adding sci fi weapons to Conquistadores.
What would be on my wishlist?
Death Fields Agincourt Bowmen.
Cromwell's New Model Army cavalry with Chainswords.
I'm afraid miniature wargames have peaked with spiders with rayguns. Honestly, is there a point in making anything else if spiders with rayguns exist? No matter what genre you're playing, spiders with rayguns is obviously the optimal faction to play.

Spiders with rayguns with heavy weapons with command options? Including a spider wine bottle.

Pirate Penguins.... because every pirate should wear a tuxedo

Combat Kalas to fight the Bugs of course.
What is David Weber's obsession with Combat Koala's anyway?
"But me no buts! Our comrades get hurt. Our friends die. Falkenburg is a knight who swore an oath to serve the church and to defend the weak. He'd be the first to tell you to stop puling and start planning. Because what we are doing-at risk to ourselves-is what we have sworn to do. The West relies on us. It is a risk we take with pride. It is an oath we honour. Even when some soft southern burgher mutters about us, we know the reason he sleeps soft and comfortable, why his wife is able to complain about the price of cabbages as her most serious problem and why his children dare to throw dung and yell "Knot" when we pass. It's because we are what we are. For all our faults we stand for law and light.

Now the spiders just need a command pig to teach them to write and a rat to find some good food .
