Still waiting on bases, and the Gobbos are too good.

The captain looks great, and the flock/static grass in particular looks amazing. I definitely need to track down some of that stuff. I think there is a similar product called Silfor(?)

And the amusing thing about Krylon is that it is the "big box store" spray paint line, and very cheap here in the US. Certainly cheaper than any dedicated hobby product.

On Krylon, I like it a lot myself too, but I use Krylon gloss followed by Testors matte for my CSM. Gives them the hard coat for lots of gaming and then matte evens the shine out.

Really enjoyed painting the NGs.
The Devlan mud is a wonder and trying new techniques out on tehm was a bonus.

I know I can paint them up much quicker on individual bases but the filler bases are needed for horde armies so there will be many more to come.

Now for some fanatics to spring out of the Night Goblins.

I've decided to do the triangles for shortbows, flames for spears and squares for hand weapon units.

So they will be used on the fanatics.

Painted exactly like the SBNGs but due to having to do 2 heavy layers of devlan mud on the metal It took about an hour each to do all three.

I really like the bases on these guys. That grass is awesome. Apart from that, im really liking the overall finished look of these guys.

The fanatics are looking mighty fine. The balls are nice and dirty, could use some fresh blood on them, but othervice is nice.

The bases are looking good as has been said, the effort made in making them has paid up full.

Finished Dante yesterday. Took 6 hours to do the base, the odds and ends on the armour, the weapons and the jump pack. :(

The aim was to get Dante in full on action pose, just landing, rather than about to spring off as most people do assault troops.
Looks dopey from a couple of angles but ace from most.

It looks killer on the bases, very nice.

Dante is looking smart. The depth on the armour isnicely done and personally, I really like the white power weapons. I believe that fits in nicely.

The metallics on tjhe boltthrower are very convincing. I think that really came out very well. The crews hott, but i didnt expect anything else.

I demand more.

My only gripe would be that Dante's axe looks a little too....white and plain. The rest of him is stellar, though.
