Yes, I'd have to agree it's the nicest (that's a little oxmoronic) army I've seen yet on here, and I've seen some nice ones...

It's been quite a while since I have updated this thread. College and getting married can be distractions! lol Anyway, so I am trying to get the Armored Company (except for the Baneblades and Titan, I want to take my time on them) done before the summer is over and school starts again. I've finished up my 3 Basilisks and have almost finished my 6 Leman Russ Battle Tanks. So without further ado, here are the Basilisk pics and the LRBTs should be done and pics posted by the beginning of next week. Hopefully.

Thanks guys! Sorry for the very late replies. Qualude: Yeah, I will probably tinker with them a little more.

Thanks guys!

Since the back story to my Death Angels is that they were a subsequent founding of Blood Angels that were almost annihilated, with a few escaping into the Netherworld only to return as Revenants, I've decided to run these models as an entire army of Death Company sometimes as well. I also like the Sanguinor and so in large games, like Apocalypse, I will use The Old Death model to represent him.

Thanks! The angel of death model is called The Old Death by Enigma Miniatures. I got mine from the CMON online store.

I was just thinking to myself "you know, Mort needs another model of Death all skully and black..." LOL

Great stuff here, Dude. Looking forward to seeing it on-table (whatever store it may end up being! lol).

Yeah, I just don't have enough Death models running around. lol. And hopefully I will be back to playing at a table top near you in the next few weeks.

Well, I didn't get to finish these like I had wanted to but I figured I would go ahead and post the WIP pics. I am doing these in two parts, the first part being the hull and the second part being the turret. For the hulls I just need to go back and touch up all the black. I am going to add penants to the turret arials like I did with the Chimeras.

Leman Russ Battle Tanks are finally done! Now it is on to the Sentinels. I was going to go back and weather all these with rust, paint chips, etc., but I'm trying to get the Sentinels, Ogryns, Renegades, and Psyker finished before school starts back so I am going to hand the weathering over to my friend SlaveToDorkness as he does rust very well! Anywho, here's the pics:

Sentinels are now ready to be primed and painted! I have a total of 9 to do and they are all armored Sentinels with Lascannons and Hunter Killer missiles. There are 3 varieties: torso, skeleton, and zombie.

Finished the Renegades over the last couple of days. These will be used as Storm Troopers for the Armored Company. The Enforcers will act as Sgts. Colorwise, for the gold, I did a base coat of Shining Gold followed by a wash of Devlan Mud. On top of that I did a light dry brush of Burnished Gold. Most of the metal parts were painted in Boltgun Metal followed by a wash of Devlan Mud. The lenses of the eyes were given a basecoat of Mechrite Red followed by a wash of Red Ink (from an earlier line of GW paints), then a line of Macharius Solar Orange at the bottom of the lense. For the heads of the Enforcers I used a base coat of Bestial Brown followed by a dry brush of Bleached Bone and finally a wash of Gryphon Sepia.

Renegade Psyker is now done. Since school has started back for me, updating this blog will be sporadic. I will begin working on my 8 Ogryn Berserkers but I won't have much time to commit to them over the next few months as school takes priority.

Just a small update. Since I run my Death Angels as Death Company as well as CSMs, I added some Stormravens to their arsenal. Just finished converting these up today and got them base coated black. This is my "counts as" Stormraven, using extra bits I had lying around. For example, the TL lascannons are 2 multi-lasers glued together and the TL multi-melta are TL heavy flamers. Not really interested in sinking a bunch of money into these if GW is going to release an actual Stormraven model possibly next year. All I had time for was a quick snapshot before I left for work earlier. I will get better pics posted this weekend. Can anyone guess what vehicle I used to make my Stormravens?

Just a small update on the progress of the Ogryn Berserkers. These are being painted to resemble undead Ogryn berserkers. Flesh is done, basic metal is done, and the rust and corrosion is done.

It's been a few months. I've been busy with other projects as well as RL priorities. I've converted up 2 Vendettas. Instead of the Forgeworld conversion kit, I used lascannons from the IG heavy weapons teams.

And here is one with all the skull bits added.
