I was considering bringing plague marines.

But I think In the end It would be rude not to bring the Grots!
I just need to paint up a few extra to reach the 1500pts!

We've got to try and fill eight or nine tables.

I can only sponsor one board...

Nine tables to be exact. Now I have enough terrain to cover three easily, or four at a stretch, Killkrazy usually brings enough for at least one and a half, and you sir, have just volunteered one tables worth. Panic/ArbitorIan/Brad brought enough for three tables last time, hopefully they can do the same this time around. If that's not an option, I'll sink some of the prize money into more terrain, and do my best to get it done up before the day.

If you're back in Canterbury before the 7th, I could drop by and give you a hand in making some terrain.

I'm actually in Canterbury right now, but since my dissertation is due two days after the event, AND I'm trying to paint my entire army at the same time, I'm juggling so many balls right now its unbelievable.

Heh, I know what you mean, I've got some lab reports due a few days after... Probably not as important as your dissertation though!

However, if there isn't enough terrain and you're a bit overwhelmed just give me a call or something and I can arrange to come down and help make/paint some terrain.

I've got a fair old amount of terrain, enough to do two tables anyway I reckon, with (somewhat worn.. alas...) grass battlemats as well.

Just so there isn't any confusion or surprises, I'm bringing the drop troops guard variant list from IA8 instead of the regular guard codex.

So, to sum up, from what I'm expecting we have:

3 CSM
3 Guard (1 IA)
3 Orks
1 Tyranids
1 Dark Eldar
1 Eldar
1 Necrons
1 Tau
2 Marines

and then

1 Daemons/ Blood Angels
1 Marines/ CSM

That really is quite the mix! We're only missing Sisters of Battle and Space Wolves, and we'd have a full house!

I left my Necrons at home :(
And don't have the money to get a train to go back and get them......

Another edit..... Not 100% sure what i'm actually going to bring, might end up bringing Chaos. Or Space Marines Will try to let you know for sure on Friday.

It's getting close now and I’m certainly a bit excited about bumping into a few familiar Dakkanauts and meeting some new ones.

All I need to do now is complete that guard army (good guess snarky btw!) that I keep promising to finish painting!

Touching on something Ketara mentioned a while back the mugs for the commemorative pack are fresh out of the kiln, courtesy of Dakka's own weetyskemian44.



As you can see there are only 10 so if you are interested in laying your hands on one of these badboys (plus dice packs) then please let Ketara know.

Anyway that’s the GW-lite hard sell done, see you there!
