But where's the Bombard gone?
The Colossus =/= Bombard, and I hope the upcoming plastic kit won't remove the Bombard from the range. I really like the Bombard.

If I had to hazard a guess--it's being remastered to work with the 'new' Leman Russ hull and to work out the kinks in the original kit.
A lot of the Taros campaign stuff has either been removed or remastered.

I don't know about the old Bombard, but since the Dominus Armored Seige Bombard is listed between the two vehicles that use the same frame as the Crassus, I'm betting it uses that frame and has a big ass gun (BAG).
Crassus Armored Assault Transport
Dominus Armored Siege Bombard
Praetor Armored Assault Launcher

A bunch of the Tau bits that came out at that time had been pulled for a short while, namely the Crisis Suit variants, the Seeker Missiles and the Devilfish/Hammerhead upgrade kits off the top of my head.
The Heavy Bolter Tarantula Emplacement was pulled for a short while(Thank the Gods it's back).
The "Crashed Valkyrie" terrain piece was pulled a few months or so ago, and keeps coming back off/on(which is annoying me because I have to get one).
The Raptors shoulderpads remained on the site, but were reportedly "out of stock" for a short while.

Um, where in my post do I say that the opinion stated therein is a fact? It seems like I am merely stating my opinion ("I am reminded...").
Perhaps you should read more carefully, or think before you automatically assume what another poster's intention is.

Your logic is rather passive-aggressive and narrow minded. OF course i am merely stating my opinion...
Not everyone who wants/buys a retro item is a hipster. Some people have been around long enough to have a history with such items and feel a sense of nostalgia for them. Humans like things that remind them of past experiences and good times. they are comforting.
It has nothign to do with being a hipster. Although hating on things just to seem "too cool for school" sort of reaks of "hipster". Again merely stating my opinion...

They reworked the Mars Alpha hull, all the Leman Russ turrets, and the Chimera turrets to rework with the current kits. Really just enlarging holes and adding bigger necks so the turrets could fit into the new hulls.

I was hoping for a Chaos Contemptor Dread. Not impressed by the new book though. Apart from a Chaos Contemptor, there's really nothing in it I'm interested in. Same Ork and Chaos stuff.

I never painted it but here's a size reference:
Note that on the Iron Grumbler, I haven't glued the sides so there is a quarter inch gap there. It's a hair bigger but they are very comparable. Note also that if you get this kit from Ramshackle (and it's a good kit!) You should scrub it good with some soapy water and a toothbrush; you'll know when it's good as the most release has a faint aroma that will be gone when it's clean.

The problem with the Ramshackle one is that it looks like junk. That's not a dig against the model - I mean it actually looks like it's made of junk.
So great for looted Ork things, not so hot for factory-clean Marine things.

Before Christmas was all they would say. Themockup was 95% there - just some "Big Blue Picture"s to put in (thats seriously how they mark up pages well, the blue ones at least)
Got chatting, IA11 sounds fun- she got to blow up a battlegroup, and have a full Maniple vs revenant phantoms....

Yep, was chatting to the lady who does most of the writing- VERY nice person to chat to, VERY VERY VERY enthusiastic about everything in the book - the palpable excitement about describinb a Corsair (Air) vs Guard (Land) fight was really great to see, makes me want the book even more!
Having a look at the Phantom titans rules (6s to hit it in CC unless youre a GC / Titan, Enhanced Eldar Titan Holofields) finally you may have titans which are as tough to take down as they should be....

From a look at the stats for the DASB, and the shadow profile of iit (both in IA:Apoc 2nd ed) it is a macharius hull (same AV values, number of structure points) and s pretty awesome - 3 bombard cannon on top of the hull, with the SH chassis allowing itto fire every turn with different profiles based on whether it was stationary or not.
