Amazing! I've been waiting with baited breath for this one since I saw it in the Pimp My Wizard thread months ago, and you've exceeded my expectations. You've given me a lot of inspiration for when I tackle my own conversion of the Dark Elf Sorceress, I just hope the awesomeness of your piece doesn't consume my brain so much that I end up making a tribute (also known as an inferior copy) to this model!

@PDH: Err, good morning Peter, how wasted have you been last night when you posted that comment? Now that you've hopefully sobered up I expect a detailed comment!

Flattering, thanks. I'm not concerned about your brain though, you'll come up with something good.

If you read my initial sentences, the project isn't even half finished. Base and doggy will still be a lot of work, so there is still time for you! Get going...

Ok, well you finished painting Samarianne, and a finished single model is much more than I've done.

I'm about to start up a 40k army now that I've settled in to my new house and finished all the renovations. I'll probably get some =I=munda going again, but I just lost all motivation when the gaming group fizzled out, and I can't force creativity there. If the rumors of cultists/renegades running to the Chaos codex are true, I may start a cultist warband that doubles as an =I=munda faction. Maybe some Alpha Legion operatives...

Anyway, keep up the great work!

I hope you'll find your way back to skirmish scale games or plain character conversions, but I'm sure you'll make your army project worth looking at as well.

Thanks, I assume you're talking about the thin lever I added, because the hammer is on the backside of the rifle and it was part of the original rifle I used for the stock.
The lever however consists of watch parts. A thin piece of metal that I clipped and bent to snug with the shape of the stock. When it had the right shape and size I drilled two 0.25mm holes into the stock and inserted two pins of the same diameter and mounted the lever and the cogwheels on them.

Thanks again, guys.

@Ghostflame: They are played mainly by friends new to tabletop gaming, so I chose to keep it as simple as possible. They use the Orlock skill set with no special rules. The ogryns will get custom rules when I allow them to be utilized in a scenario.

I think you just shouldn't bother with the ogres myself if it causes to much stress with gaming, Mind you that leaves those models a bit redundant, send them to me no point seeing them go to waste ………… are you buying this yet NAAAAAAAAAAAA didn't think so.

Thanks mate!
She's wearing the chastity belt because she used to be a silent sister before she dissappeared and was "hired" by Inquisitor Probitas. I imagine silent sisters do not only have oaths of silence, you know what I mean.
Now that she is not an actual silent sister anymore, the only person with a key is the inquisitor, but it was just a gesture of trust that she gave it to him after he gave her back her life. He wouldn't dare using it though, especially not when Hope (her aliencybermonsterdoggy) is around. Samarianne and Hope have linked perception afterall and I guess Hope wouldn't like to be touched at it's private parts.

Update:
None really, I'm almost done with Jagged Alliance and after that I'm getting back into my projects full throttle. I've done some small things on the side though and can say as much, it's going to get beastly...

Back in action is the one I'm playing. It doesn't have the depth of the original one, but it is still a very nice (and time consuming) game. No, I never even heard of taktikzone.de.

No updates worth showing or talking about. Haven't worked on any conversions since last week, but I'm currently painting the standard bearer for my inquisitorial guardsmen, the vostroyan I showed you a while ago. I try to paint an hour or so every (other) night.
Apart from that my second supply drop from Micro Mark arrived and I'm looking forward to use all my new tools.
The only one that has already proven to be a dissappointment is the Xuron micro shear cutter: http://www.micromark.com/xuron-micro-shear,7463.html
If only someone would have told me in advance, that micro shear stands for asymmetrical blade alignment, which means it is like a very bad cutter, where the blades don't meet, but extra sharp. I leaves a flat surface alright, but it tears out some of the material from that surface, so what use is that? A good cutter has to have sharp, straight blades, that align perfectly, this one is a joke.

Mate a pair of nail clippers and a scalpel s'all you need

Made in de

Not really, a nail clipper is not the right tool. You can unsprue everything with a scalpel but it's far from convenient or practical. If you ever unsprue 15000 parts for a project like I did last year for our terrain project, you'll understand that a clean flat cut close to the piece is a real time saver and decides how much your fingers will hurt.

Haha Baiyuan I jest of course. You seem able to cut the very tinyest peice from a model and then attach it to another, where I'd have to clumsily hack at it then greens stuff it all back in anyways

Thanks mate, I'm actually quite disciplined lately, which means I keep the new projects at a minimum and focus on painting. Tomorrow I'll spend the morning converting though, it's been too long since my last session and I've got a day off.

Did you know that Gerner is the name of the evil lawyer in the longest running and most popular german daily soap "Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten"? I guess you didn't, but even though I don't give a rat's ass about the show it's been around for so long every german will associate your name with Jo Gerner. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jo_Gerner Sorry mate!
