When in doubt, it counts as a chaos spawn.

Reaper owlbear miniature? Tzeentchian Chaos spawn. Warmachine warjack? Clearly an Iron Warriors mechanical chaos spawn. My Little Pony happy meal toy? A deplorable slaanesh chaos spawn, obviously.

Chaos spawn are a catch-all term for any and all conversions.

I'd have to now include these three models as my favorite conversions I got a little inspired by Slaanesh the Hell-Sak is made from Plague fly wings, the lower part of the Heldrake & neck and the Tervigon abdomen. The Maulerfiend is a little more simple, it's just the tendrils smoothed and added suction cups and converted the head to have a split lower maw so he looks more menacing! the Daemon prince uses a head from Nightmaw and the arms from the Vermin Lord model with the Demon prince axe head added and of course the prince's body!

Absolutely stunning models. I've seen your maulerfiend unpainted and i loved the idea. But with paint on it is even more impressive. All those twirly pattern really make him stand out. Great work!

Modelled from a Trygon. The tail, wings and base are magnetised so that it can still be used as a Trygon.

I got this idea stuck in my head and just could not forget about it until I had done it. It was eighty dollars for the bits, but it was worth it. At five wounds and five attacks, this guy is scary. Give him The Quicksilver Blade and he's got six plus D6 AP3 attacks on the charge at initiative six. Add stuff like the EW and AW artifact, gift of mutation, sigil of corruption, ichor blood, combat familiar... Even with all that he's STILL cheaper than a decked out Daemon Prince! He can even ride around in a rhino or Land Raider, counting as three models.

That is just fantastic. Painted pics?

I'll be converting the other two DV bikes in a similar manner before painting all three.
I feel like I'm improving a whole lot with each conversion I do so I hope that I can keep posting in this thread with better and better conversion.

... Uh, you're not bothering anyone with that model. It took me a few minutes to identify all the bits i could, and there's some i still can't. That thing is gorgeous.

Fantastic work on the Emprah model! He really looks the part! The one thing I would have added is a laurel wreath on his head -- there are quite a few suitable bitz in both the Space Marine and WFB Empire ranges!

I have the wreath on his head, you just cant see them from that angle.
