I have my second game of 7th on saturday. So going to take some photos there will be a naked Imperial Knight.

Sounds like it should be fun Dee. Looking forward to my next game... whenever it happens.

If it makes you feel any better, I still haven't played 7th.

I'll be honest and state that I've had many, many games of 7th and found my Tyranids more favoured than my Chaos. Though, new campaign due to start soon so I plan on getting my Chaos painting bug back (need to paint a lot more purple to go with the Death Guard/AoC force...)

I might even pick up the stuff I need to play 7th in the next couple of months....

I mean, I've decided to commit to buying the Dark Eldar Limited Edition (So long as it's the same as the Space Wolf and Ork one, with 3 books, art and coins in a fancy box), so I should probably play again...

If I get a chance to play again soon I'll try and do a batrep. They take a lot of work but they're pretty cathartic.

Took the family to a Wisconsin Badgers game this weekend. First college game I've been to in 30 years or so. Really, really fun. Going to have to make it an annual thing. Got some great pics too (which of course I can't post here).

Made for a great Saturday though.

The Toyota I turned in had 188K. $400 into it I'm sure it would've gone for another 35K at least. But it was time... and I LOVE the VW. Never buy another non-German car again (unless it's a pick-up truck). Never owned a car before that was clearly designed to go fast, effortlessly.

Mine arrives tomorrow too, though the current one only has 13k on the clock. Joys of lease purchase is a new car every 3 years

I LOVE the VW... what a great car! Even though it's not the fanciest model, it's got a million little engineering touches that make it a class act. Real joy to drive too.

That last batrep definitely worked!

Saw the coolest battle report the other day, thought I'd pass it on. It's written by Polythemus. He treats it kind of like a graphic novel. He's got a sentence or two to set up the action, then a series of photos with text balloons from the figures on the table speaking in-character. It's fantastic! If you enjoy a good battle report I encourage you to go check this out. I think I'm going to try it (meaning the comic book style) at least once... it seems like just too much fun not to try and emulate.


Not to be outdone... moonpie just posted another funny and entertaining battle report. It's for Warhammer Fantasy but really... it's worth a read even if you're a strictly 40k guy like I am. moonpie just kind of lets things flow onto the page... kind of a "stream of consciousness" battle report.
