Oh man, everyones saying go p3! Maybe I will, MAYBE I WILL. I tried the "Undercoat black" from gw today and it covered great but was suspiciously shiny. Actually really shiny. I'm glad it was just some bordering or I would have been really angry if it had dried that shiny on a model.

I still have a huge ( really ridiculous) amount of vallejo left and, but I will try out P3 for restocks and see what it's like. When this many people say it's great, I tend to believe it!

Heres what I painted in work today, tiles for Planetary Empires. I only had my ancient and hilariously senile iphone to take shots so they are awful, but I will get better ones tomorrow. Cheers Weety <3



Little guys have crazy detail, they need a highlight layer and then their little flags and buildings to be painted tomorrow.

Oh yeah did I mention I painted over 40 of them?

What kind of game is that Iffy? Those tiles make it look like the ground is way down there... In any case those are really convincing paint jobs. Very nice.

Hmm.... have to look it up. Tiles are cool... but then it could just be Iffy's masterful painting.

It's a really decent set too, the tiles are double sided so you get a huge amount of variety, and theres some really nice buildings to go on to them too. Once that's all finished up I think these will be looking great, so I will make sure to get shots!

Tiles look good. Any updates for the Jugger w/rider? I really want to see them finished.

He's being worked on As he's showpiece standard he takes quite a while, and the rider is actually far more detailed than the jugger was! /cry

Those tiles look pretty cool actually. I especially like the smiley face one. They look like they were a lot of work there.

I'm loving the tiles too! I only got about 1/2 way through my set before I had to put them away for a while.

They really are an awesome little kit and have piles of detail!

It's a very nice way to create a campaign map

Here are all the terrain parts finished, the buildings just need their highlight and they are ready to go, but they are still all on sprues hehe

I think the thing we're all neglecting is that Iffy has a painted Realm of Battle Board and doesn't play the warhams... we must fix this

That's very impressive Iffy... very impressive.

Those tiles look great all placed together. Very cohesive looking yet very defined with their black borders.


On a side note if you scroll up and down over that image really fast it messes with your eyes.

Oh yeah lol! Love them all! Curious as to why you left the side bits on? (the bits that stick out of the black rim)

Side bits are on so they all slot together I just didn't in the picture cause they are a very annoying to take apart.

We might end up taking the slots off anyway, but didin't want to do that without permission lol.

I know it's kinda common sense but I will be painting them today anyway and it would be nice to try and FINALLY do a wee bit of recording at my desk. I keep putting it off.
