LOL... I have yesterday had my lil google picture research I do from time to time...and I stumbled over so many pics of your works...must be all that steam punk you and me do... well... I found an old thread where you got some digital pics made by a fellow modeller for your Athena... quite a cool work I must say... as for a due buttkick to get you started...highly overdue in my humble opinion ...get a move on... I am by the way currently testing some stuff to work on...
one is an ex- torchlight that might become a new steampunk flyer...and then I have several templates for tanks... ranging from the AV7 to MKV and landraider and so on... or I could build a Stompa...or even a Leviathan...

decisions, decisions...

did I say: get a move on already? well do it !!!

hello ladies and gentlemen,

i wish you all a merry Christmas! I hope Santa has been kind to you and that all your loved ones and you shared one happy evening...

now that my kids and wife have been safely tucked in bed...i want to show you something that is in a way related to the current event...

namely ...a little project i call: christmas balls gone bad...











this will be the start of a new tank build... after the last one, the tortoise one i thought long and hard what crazy tank now to make...and all of a sudden i was playing with some odd ends of my junkbox... and the idea to make a new balltank was born...well...what do you think? it is still highly WIP but it is developing quite nice atm in my view...of course this will be a new huge tank...we wouldn´t expect any less from me,eh?^^...

i guess next will be the second tracksystem to be finished and then added with detail...after that i will need to make some rear support gear and some engine details...


what do you think?

thanks Doc!... well... i have to add that i copied that look from the internet... there are a few ball tank versions out there... quite cool looking ones... but this one will be fit for my imperial steam punk army...their weird ordo mechanicus has a thing for unique tank concepts it seems^^

Yeah, I have a few pictures saved for future reference.
I just have many other tanks (and other things) to distort first, before I even have to start making my own crazy contraptions...

scratch building new tanks is in my view a slight bit more fascinating than building kits... but kitbashing is of course on the same level doc ...i wanna see a scratchbuild one of these days from you too!!!

The tank looks great as a base model. My first thought was jack in the box character from the restaurant, but I was really hungry at the time.
