The official website says two more hours and some change. I had heard they may start a bit early, but as I am only at 57% downloaded I can't log on to find out.

Yep I'm in, couldn't get any of the five names I wanted to grab for fun stakes, but I was four hours late to the party.. is the guild up and running yet?

Oh and aye, seems the log in servers have crashed and burned.. so just waiting for them to sort it.

Have made an Elementalist and Necromancer so far, was loading up with a new Defender when the crash happened so no idea if I lost her or not.

Going to make a Ranger and Mesmer later if I can get in and that will be all my alt names sorted.

I've managed to make all eight of my characters now. It's quit fun rotating between them all as I please.

I have eight, I bought character slots. :p

Hehe, ah. I really haven't looked much into this game at all to be fair, its a MMO, I played Beta off the bat, watched two vids here, not much more I need to know.

As to the slots, fair enough, that's how they plan to make money on the free model. Five it probably will be then, unless new races are added in the future.

Managed to verify my email lol. But thats all so far.

I did that this morning when I first tried to log, then got in for about 40mins.

Been dead for me since then, can't even download the patch, keeps getting errors. Ah well, will try again later.

Ahh theyve updated the support page to say the servers are unavailable at this time.

So I'm not missing anything then

Ordered a physical copy but the post didn't come today because of the english bank holiday.

It seems that I was in the guild and after the servers went back up, I'm no longer in. Could I have another invitation?

Yeah I also need an invite to the Dakka guild. Also how does guesting work? The Desolation isn't really the best server for me so when I'm not WvWvW'ing I'd like to be on a world closer to home.

For some reason the server wiped the guild so I'll remake it in a tick.

You can either wait or join another server and transfer later on.

Looks like we have a bit of a problem... I've been removed from the guild according to my interface but several others have said their interface shows I'm still the leader. I can't be re-invited as nobody else has invite rights and I can't change that until I get back to being leader

One solution is just making another guild with a Different name.

I'll work on getting Guild Wars 2 installed once I finish the customization process.

So, was playing GW2 earlier today. Went to go have dinner, quit the game.
Came back after dinner, opened the launcher, and my computer crashes.

Didn't restart my computer, no updates or additional software was installed, no settings were changed. The GW2 updater just instantly crashes my computer now.

Even tried redownloading the client. Same thing.

Weird.

EDIT: Ah, Anet's support website is pretty good. I like how it compares your query to find solutions before it actually sends the message.

...on a negative note, looks like it'll be reinstalling for half a lifetime. Dark Souls time.
