yeah pretty much, but they are a Synapse unit so I see the money spent worth-while.
erm, there's a lot of GS work and cleaning up to do, but thats pretty much it for that one, I have two others to get on with as well.... I hope to have the three done by next week.

the pose is just what seemed natural given the parts tbh. Can't really explain much more than that lols

When converting I only ever have a rough idea of what I want from the end product tbh... more often than not I just go with the flow and see what fits. its more fluid that way, and makes it easier to change the outcome when something doesnt go my way.

That's a good way to go about it. I do the same, also with painting.

Converting needs plans to an extent though, I've seen some peoples conversions which look like somones dipped their fist in glue and then in a bits box and thats their final result  (not litterally but they might as well have)
thanks dude. I was tempted with the quad wings, but it left little in the way of room for physics. and you all know how I like my models to make sense lols

lol, i plan nothing, not even for my sculpts
A bit of drinking and smoking then i start lol.
Aye, quad wings are a real pain.
I was tempted to go with a chinese dragon type look with primary wings far forward, then secondary wings further back.
But, nids have 6 limbs (invluding wings) so it leaves me 2 spaces for 4 weapons/arms.
So its possibly going to be eagle like talons for twin claw, or normal talons with a form of body mounted ranged weapon.
Also, ive now started on my metallic coloured tzeentch daemons again lol.
5 horrors, a flamer and just started a lord of change

oh thank you god, someone who thinks like me where wings are concerned... wings are limbs... so dragons should have four limbs not SIX... bloody grrrr
erm don't forget if you do the two sets of wings, you can put a weapon (ranged) in the throax , as Raveners have set the precidence on that
