I understand it is legally very difficult to do, I'm glad you are trying to find a way around it though. I'm sure all of your customers will be thankful.
I must say I am particularly impressed by your interaction with the consumer, it's always nice to have a positive impression of buisness' staff! In my experience it will make or break a small company, you are definitely going about things the right way.
Automatically Appended Next Post: So I was in a nearbye town yesterday waiting on a bus and texting a friend who recently moved away. We were talking about the weather(how very British) so I took a quick snap of the area to answer both where I was and how nice a day it was.
I was going through my camera shots later and I relaised that this rather lovely new bus station is actually very good Infinity terrain. This sort of architecture is pretty modern but for some reason in the future we decided glass is lame. I don't buy that which is why my table is going to have loads of this sort of stuff.
Here is the snap I took, sorry it's a little blurred, I took a better one but it's 90% sky:

@Casey as promissed.. this unfortunately is the max we can do sorry. But should give you an idea.
Also consider we are working on sidewalks to be added around the buildings (these will support the street lamps and advertisment signs, currently been working on), thus you should not look at the miniature on the ground for scale but the one inside the building. As you can see (at least in my opinion) the building is true scale for 28mm figures. The doors may look a bit oversized, but we had in mind a structure where you can actualy play using the inside of the building also. This will allow you to set the minature on the door step half in and half out.
Again any comments are welcome they always help us to improve. In fact a few extra pieces we have planned for next stretch goals came from ideas brought to us by some gamers comments.

Excellent RJ! Thank you for sorting out the scale pictures, it has successfully quashed my worries completely. Taking into account customer support, cost, scale, modularity, playability, aesthetics and material: I think it's safe to say that you are, in my opinion, producing the best product on the market to efficiently fill a table with quality terrain.
You've certainly moved into my top spot and although I prefer to build my own terrain I'll be considering buying yours to convert. More importantly I'll be recommending you to others!
Since you asked for ideas I had a think. Honestly I think you have pretty much everything down and I'm looking forward to the other stuff you are going to add. I see you have shutter style closed windows and blank fillers which I'm guessing are meant to be painted as windows or more wall. These are good options. I also see there are a couple of types of door. My question is, do the doors move or do they have to be glued in place? Also, the doors are sliding doors but they are very close to corners of walls, where do they slide to?
P.S. Could you send me a private message about the software you use and/or recommend? I've been out of the CAD loop for a while but I'm probably going to have to buy soon.

Well we are 50% down the road... unfortunately seems we will not produce all we wanted on this KS. But we have triangular and octagonal sections... for what? You will see. We have parts to use the walls as barriers, we have pubblicty signs, light posts, wall lamps, barrels, low walls for dungeons, landing pads, and much more ready to toss out
As for the doors, they are attached to the wall with a thin layer, and can be easily cut out, same for the wiondow. We have a project to have them repositioonable but the mold cost is prohibitive at these level of the KS. We will see if we can fit it in.

I'm sure most of you have seen this.
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/escenorama-sci-fi-line The buildings are neat, but honestly I'm more interested in the accessories. They just added a streetlights add on, and I think they'll work great with my Secret Weapon urban streets once they get here.
Most of his work isn't suited for sci-fi though.
I'm just recently interested in the game because WH40k seemed to expensive for me to start with, and I discovered the local club that introduced me to Infinity. I'm currently just painting my first model just for the looks ^^ But since I'll need a lot of terrain this seems cool for people on a low budget like me.
I've just printed it, and I'll post pictures of it when it's ready. I can't work on it tomorrow though, it'll have to wait.
Does anyone know of any other free/cheap paper models you can build yourself?
Yeh there is a tonne of papercraft terrain, it's probably scattered through this thread as I have sadly not had time to sort out the OP. Particularly there are a fair few container types.
I agree that it's a great way for new players to fill a table quickly and for those on a tight budget. Do tell us how it goes!
Ah yes, I've found the containers by skimming through this thread already ^^ I really like the Ikubes
I just thought there'd be more advanced structures aswell =D But I'll make sure to search this thread more thoroughly
The textures are something I want to try out, just waiting for my dad to bring some foamcore from his work =D
Haven't had time to check My Threads! This stuff looks great RJ, very classy looking terrain. It actually looks a lot cleaner than a lot of the other stuff available, to my eye anyway.
Any Infinity Dakkanauts pledged to this kickstarter yet?
I'm quite happy with the price myself, particularly to get something other than MDF. I think the minimum pledge is for two terrain elements which would mean you'd have to buy something else or get both. I could be wrong though, I haven't delved too deep because kickstarter doesn't like my phone.
Hmm, yeh I think so. It seems to be much more expensive at the bottom of the line. I think it was the $75 pledge I was looking at earlier which is a nice deal. I think it was 5 pieces and 5 accessory sets.
Ever thought of playing in a full city before? Well look at this.
I hope to have the accessories completed tomorrow, to include a satellite dish, air vents, signs and more.
And with a few led and abtteries maybe you can play a night game...

Nice vid, it's a good kit for everyone in my opinion. You could not glue it or magnetise it if you need to move it around, it's in nice blocks if you want to use it for kit bashing your own terrain and it just needs those little holes filled for those who want to keep it stuck in one piece. It certainly seems that you have put a lot of thought into it!
Could you walk us through the retail prices now?
- How much is each element?
- What does that city cost in total?
- What is the approximate cost to fill 1sqft with varying terrain?
- Can you list the terrain you are or are planning to make that would suit Infinity?
- Are you planning more scatter terrain/interior terrain?
Thanks for taking the time to explain stuff to us.
