Well got fed up with my maelstrom games pre-order (still processing) so I rang them up got it cancelled then bought the stuff from IGUK (2 starters, 2 y-wing, 2 Tie Advanced, 1 x-wing and 1 Tie) and got a message 2 hours after ordering saying they have dispatched oh and over £6 in rewards off my next order which got me a box damaged android netrunner for under £15. Now a lot happier and ready to fly some starships and take some names.

Nice, Seems like your the first in the UK to recieve your goods, Which retailer did you use, Wayland? Which postal service did they use? What did you get? what was missing from your order?
Should be getting mine from TotalWarGamer tomorrow. Yay the UK is finally starting to get our Starwars on !!! Very Exciting.

Nah just pulling your leg on the extras. I only have a couple of each of those. I would hate to see someone really attempt to buy 12 TIE Advanced, 8 Y-wings 30 starters, etc. just to 'win'.
Apologies about the pic. It wasnt a gloat. It was more of a "Jesus H. Christ on a roman hurt-stick, how the hell did I get that much crap?" and had to take a pic of the insanity.
I ordered 3 on line after buying 1 locally and playing it with the GF. We both liked it and she knows how much I adored SW as a child, so she ordered 5. Neither of us told each other of the purchases, so extra copies ensued. I pared the down to 6 copies through some local sales. I am dubious about even needing that much. I think 4 is more than plenty.

Same thing here, but from Miniature Market in the US. My whole pre-order is delayed due to the dice. I'm looking into cancelling the dice or moving them to their own order...their policy isn't to partially ship pre-orders.

Same thing happened to me with CoolStuffInc. I emailed them to cancel the dice and the shipped the day after. Package was at my house in a couple days. I will do business with them in the future for sure.
^^^Yeah actually if you're in the US and they carry it, CoolStuffInc really does rock the casbah. When I preordered this they didn't have all of the extra X-Wings and TIE Advanced that I wanted so I kept checking their stock. When stock arrived I immediately added the extra pieces I wanted to my original order, but as it turns out my stuff had already left. I called to see what could be done and they offered to ship out the new order USPS First Class (an option not on their website because they like their stuff arriving fast) for about $1.26, in leiu of their normal shipping costs.
I was pretty happy with the entire thing all and all. It makes me wish they carried 40k minis. I gotta work on them about that. I can't image a game store not carrying 40k. Anyways they got my business. But dammit, now I need extra dice!!
It might be worth trying to call them up, get a real person and ask if they carry/you can order stuff not on their website... aka Warmahordes. I say so because they have this tier based sliding discount scale. The more you spend, you go up the tiers, and each tier has a certain discount for singles (they sell CCG, TCG, and Collectible Mini ie heroclix, etc) and a different discount for all their other stuff...in addition to their normal low pricing. The next time I need something (ala Dark Angels in November) I think I might call them and see if they can do it live.

I wouldn't go that far, Panic - I was able to pick up my starter from my LGS on Tuesday. Only thing they didn't have in was dice - same message as rich gave above regarding those.

I went with Wayland and rich1231 has been great with updates when I complained lol.
I received 2 starters and 1 of each booster except the Y-Wing which apparently is gonna take two weeks to get here because the shipment didn't contain any :( fortunately Wayland has part shipment! Don't know the carrier though dude, I was at my accounting course but fortunately my dad just caught them and I mean just otherwise they have been at the depo tonight!
If Battlefoam had chose to lay the ships on their sides they would have had more room for MOAR SHIPS! I'd have done it with all of them except the X-Wing. /critic

Oops I'm at fault here, apparently rich says there was only a part of the shipment there should have been for Y-Wing stock for wayland so having to wait for the next one. See earlier on this page

I always thought I would like the X-wing most but the TIE advanced is probably my fav! Might have to get a couple more and play super elite imps!
Also had a though. What you reckon the interceptor and the A-wing will have that is different? I don't mean shielding etc. but they are faster than the others. Will be able to make an extra move? More green manoeuvres I think is a guarantee though
