That giant lichedragon (or whatever) was just too much and I must have it.
Easily worth 2/5th of a sophie. (Hydra is the 3/5th part)

It's funny how the Mantics original kickstarter felt bigger than this.
Now I check back and see it went only for 354k!

Almost 10 times less than this.

It felt much bigger.

Nice! C'mon pledges! I want a giant Cthulhu!

~Eric

Edit:
Should be about the size of the Horrorclix Cthulhu, which sells for upwards of $200.00 these days.

The Mantic one gave away ~100 figures including a lot of large models for $175 pledges. This one is doing a similar thing, only on a much larger scale... lower pledge amount and a lot more minis. The great thing about plastic tooling is that the more minis you sell, the lower the total cost of manufacturing each mini becomes as the low materials cost starts to outweigh the high tooling cost... which is perfect for a kickstarter and giving away a ton of free stuff.

The lower $100 sweet spot helps quite a lot, it lets people invest without having to overspend.

Yeah. Maybe it was their customisability. I got exactly what I wanted (which was 27 trolls + lot of freebies), instead of default set + options. (Which are awesome, but I'd love to pick and choose.)

Of course, I can't see how one mini on a motorcycle is worth as much as a dragon and Cthulhu.

Lot of people are trading her in. I personally love the miniature, but she ain't worth as much as Hydra AND Liche Dragon.

Metal vs. plastic.

They normally don't make very many Sofias.

And there in lies the problem.

Sedition Wars had trouble the last day.

This is effectively an entire Sedition Wars campaign distilled into 17 hours. KS people need to buy less iStuff and better servers.

Also 25 is her real price, but Dragons/hydras/Cthulhu are heavily discounted. 30+ prices each in retail.

Just to make sure, if I backed at the vampire level can I add money after it's closed to get cthulu and the bone dragon? Like everyone else the site isn't loading very well for me right now, and I'd rather leave bandwith for others if it doesn't matter.

Kickstarter.com looks 100% dead to me, and has been for the last 10 minutes.

Not even showing an error page, just a 503 error:

"503 Service Unavailable
No server is available to handle this request."

If your backed at the 100 dollar level you should be fine when the pledge manager comes out.. but if we didn't hit cthulu due to server problems, I don't think they will give it up..

Crapped out completely with 2k left to go. Classy job, Kickstarter. You cost us Cthulhu (although I wouldn't be surprised if Reaper let us have him anyway!)
