I don't know. For Dark Elves, they may not go too far enough. Also, are these $15 metals? Because if they are, I'll just go on and forget I ever saw them.

I prefer them to the GW ones, will probably get the hooded one even just to paint.

I think the bar for "over the top" has actually just been raised by a particular Dwarf Slayer model....

Are all of their independent Dwarf characters metal? Some were listed as metal, others were not.

Also, anyone have a pics of AOW Dwarfs next to GW ones? I've used the google, but can only find one pic of a slayer new to a GW warrior.

Lastly, anyone know if you can kit bash AOW and GW Dwarfs?

If it says "In Stock", is it really "In Stock"?

I think I remember reading somewhere that is stock level is not to be believed?

I would not order directly from AoW, as there have been a lot of delays and bad communication from their behalf. By all means, do order them, but find them at another retailer. Don't get me wrong, I hope all the best to AoW, but hopefully they will pick up on these problems and actually deal with them.

The arms and cloak are probably separate parts, so maybe sculpt on some combat drug dispenser tubes, add a pistol holster, and replace one of the swords with a blast pistol? The hands look to have a convenient sleeve end where you can cut it off and add another.

Eager to see their new witchy elves, though just picked up several boxes of the GW ones. Store was clearing them out at 50% off.

Dark Elf assassins and witches look good so far.

I'll be getting both those assassins without any doubt in my mind. Awesome.

Maybe its just the angle, but I'm not a big fan of the exclusive model. From the front it just looks really over the top and suggestive...

PVC plastic like the Pathfinders, Thunderers, and Corrupters.

Need some better pics of the rank and file. As is they look kinda muddy. That same color graphic backdrop is not doing them any favors. The mouths seem particularly unfortunate.

The Witch elves look great. The special character looks bad, suggestive and wrong.

The exclusive model looks like crap. I don't like the hair on any of them but she's even worse, and the sculptor gave her no breasts and an over-emphasised hollow under the ribcage. Even the navel looks to be in the wrong place.

The exclusive is really bad, the rank and file look alright, but there is really something wrong with the mouth. Too bad.

Exclusive is a freebie, so give it to someone you don't like.

Most intriguing, will have to keep up to date with avatars of war more often.

I'll just buy the box whenever I get around to it rather than pre-ordering it. It is a shame, though - as usually AoW figures hit it for a six, and so a sub-par character (freebie or not) is very disappointing.

Overly explicit and mediocre sculpt. Worst DE model so far from Felix. Really feels like an afterthought.

The character is not exactly free, as you can get another 10 Wytches instead on preorder.

Good news!

If you don't want the exclusive figure, Felix is now offering an alternative preorder deal, in which you get 30 not-Witches for the price of 20.

Is that only when ordering direct from AoW or shared with his retail partners? I've never seen that before, and I have actually pre-ordered from AoW before (I took a gamble on a recent Dwarf box!)
