He's just concentrating really hard on not wetting his power armour because there aren't any toilets in the 41st millenium.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

In the 41st millenium all pants are equiped with Lavatoriums.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

give me old models vs new models any day of the week!
I love the stuff GW made in the 80s, its all wonderfully cheesy yet so awesome...
it had charm
they lost their charm, so I just can't bring myself to start another army i can never make because they are such a bore to paint...having painted them all

Yeah, well, so's your face!

Incorrect, that is a pretty impressive model. Not to mention, if you dont like how it is stock, then a few VERY simple modifications and presto, its a whole different looking model. The DreadKnight is an awesome model. Me least fav model/s would probably be the entire Catachan range. feth sake those look terribad. I always wondered why they kept THOSE guardsmen over the mountain of other COOL guard armies from the past. I mean.....Tallarn would of be soooooooooo much better. Those guys STILL look like BAMF's

If it looked slightly more "heroic" and "knightly" and less "mech-pilot" I think it would do better.

Nothing says intimidating like "Raaaar! Look how big I am!!!!!!!1111!!"

Iranna.

That model is older than you. Please go to the back of the room and be quiet. Njal still looks as cool as ever after 20 years.

The model looks silly in the pictures, but in person it actually looks pretty impressive, especially considering how old it is. There are FAR worse models than that out there.

Also, people are mixing up badly sculpted (eg, this was made with play-doh/looks fugly) with badly designed (eg, the Dreadknight's lack of protection). You may not like the design decisions of the Heldrake, Forgefiend, Thunderwolves, etc, but you have to admit that they were sculpted spectacularly.

In terms of piss-poor sculpting, clearly the Ork Cheerleader wins the day (even if it is fething hilarious ), followed closely by Nagash and then the Sister Dialogus (which is a shame, as the GW model is actually quite well painted, but the sculpt completely ruins it).

Those figures are the reason I chose ogres and vampire counts over skaven. I saw some pictures of them, loved the concept art and I almost seemed to remember liking the figures, then I saw those things and just imagined most of the models looked like those and chose another army.

Edit: I don't know if it's just the paintjob, but the tentacle vagina head is pretty questionable too.

this thread started off great but took a turn for the stupid when people said Sguard, astorath etc

Sguard is an awesome kit. the nipple thing is showing your immaturity IMO. they are sculpted like a roman gladiator or legionary armour. you could just sand/cut the nipples off if it really bothers you.
