Like I said earlier, I gladly pitch in a bit extra to get them shipped regardless. But I think the 15mm Mortis and weapons haven't shipped yet either, on account that tablescapes can't get boxes done for its production run. So the point might be moot, either way.

Yep still waiting on a couple of 15mm HEL cannon and a 15mm capacitor cooler once these hit retail.

It might be moot at the moment, Mathieu, but since Mark posted that milling is holding up the heavy troopers, I think we're looking at more delay on the remaining items (heavy troopers, command squad, and black widows... and possibly the APC).

So, getting what is done shipped instead of just sitting around, at least to people who literally are only waiting on items that are done and about to be shipped over to the U.S. anyway... well, it would certainly be appreciated.

Yeah, it's work and shipping costs that will have to be done sooner or later, and it least that would close out a few shipments at long last for some people.

Also, anyone want to bet with there being milling delays we'll hear some news about final designs of the KD:M armor kits being finished soon?

Just a question to everyone else, if they were to ship just the 15mm stuff out to the people who ordered ONLY that, would everyone else who ordered those and other items feel ticked off? I'm just wondering if it would be good/bad for them to consider shipping those so they could start selling the 15mm stuff at retail. I know I'd be upset if I had bought some through kickstarter then saw them sitting on a shelf before my order got shipped.

I wouldn't feel ticked off in the slightest. Ship the 15mm weapon people their gak now, and I'll even be ok with them selling it at retail. (I'm personally waiting on 15mm weapons and lots of troops). I'll be ticked off if that coupon doesn't work for Aussies with reasonable postage though - especially since I paid for three waves of shipping which were later changed to free shipping as a Mea Culpa to people for the delays (without anything for those who did pay).

With apparently more milling issues, I'm starting to think that December/Christmas might be too early, and we might be looking at Post-CNY for this...

WGF is dead set on proving that you can sell the best plastics on the market at decent prices and still kill your brand.

What I meant was that some stuff sitting on the warehouse floor might be shipped with tablescapes. If that had been the case, I'd have been more than happy to contribute to help split wave 3 into 2 waves and let WGF get their 15mm stuff fully on the market. But since that campaign too has hit another delay too, it still hasn't left China either... They might as well work out the snags in milling.

Snags in milling are typically very short term, it happens when the mold split crew complete a bunch of CAD work at roughly the same time. Which is common, as it needs final approval from the customer before heading to milling, so you may have several sets from various customers hitting at the same time.

On a happy note, I saw the T1's for the Heavy trooper Assault and Supports last night. They are snapping some shots and test assembling a few so I should have an update with some pretty pictures this week. I knew we were close which is why I have been waiting to do an update.

Well, I was hankering over my Black widows and APCs, but the delay has meant I have picked up other stuff to be getting on with, and I now have so much gak to do, these have become a much lower priority for me.

that's not to say that they won't jump right back up the list when they hit, but I'm not able to sit around waiting anymore.

It would be nice to get some sign from Mark soon about whether this year is even a possibility or not. I'd rather have that than the void of no date-speculation...

Not quite DF rumors, but this is kind-of news. DF bits are great for kitbashing.

How tall is that?

I hope you purchased your bitz from... something that doesn't exist in the GW universe, otherwise that's a lot of full kits...

Most of those bits were from my bits box.

The Valkyrie hull and Stormtalon hull are not exactly high-demand bits (people want the wings, not the hull) I got them on ebay for $7 or $8 a piece.
The most expensive bits where the Leviathan legs. Those went for $16

Sprues look good.

But this line:

The 20 man Valkir set is still in milling. The APC add-on kits, the Command Squad and the female Stormtroopers are still in engineering for mold split.

Makes me nervous about actually receiving these in 2014.

Any word on timelines, or on getting orders that are ready and waiting shipped in the meantime? I know I keep asking, but it just sux for people whose stuff is done and sitting to have to wait for unrelated kits to be finished... especially since with all that you've listed as being left, we could be talking 6 months easily based on the pace so far...

The Valkir are looking amazing. On a technical and design level, they far surpass their nearest counterparts - GW Space Marines imo. It's a shame the Space Marine look is so iconic, but I can see people saying feth it and using these instead. More importantly, they stand on their own as an amazing design and I'm really looking forward to getting my grubby vegemite stained hands on them! I thought Mark did well with his stormtroopers, but these are even better.

I am very happy to show you some previews of the Heavy Trooper ‘Valkir Assault’ and ‘Valkir Support’ sprues. These are T1, so there will be some cleanup and adjustments made before they are production ready.

Wargames Factory China is sending me some T1’s for assembly so I hope to have some shots late next week of some assembled Valkir heavies.

The 20 man Valkir set is still in milling. The APC add-on kits, the Command Squad and the female Stormtroopers are still in engineering for mold split.

Yeah Yonan, I will use the close combat sword and pistol wielders as my command team for the powered armor guys, and then the other squad, the heavy weapons like a devastator or retributor squad.
Tactical powered suit box of 20 (suee!) will be 2 10man or 4 5man tac teams

There is always the possibility that since tablescapes has done it's original run, wyrd is doing regular rather than a huge release boom, wwx is only one faction at a time now and KD:M has progressed... maybe DFG will get a bit more priority?

Darn you DFGs,
Your going to make me spend a lot of money for my upcoming 40k project (GKs,SWs/SMs, and AM).
Go ing to need to purchase
1 x command squad
2 x 20man stormtrooper kits
3 x female stormtrooper kits (assuming they're 10 model kits)
3 x support weapon kits
2 x 20man Valkir heavy troops
6 x Valkir assault kit (assuming they're 5 model kits)
4 x Valkir support kit (assuming they're 5 model kits)
Add in the accessory kits (are we going to be seeing a accessory kit for both the Valkir and female trooper kits?)
Lastly I'll need 2 15mm leviathans (I like the feet in the Mortis, but like the armored look of the crusader)
Well let us know when you plan on doing the next kickstarter (if I can get the M7 paladin and a American themed army I'm in)
Happy 4th my fellow countrymen
Good fortunes to you DFGs, keep them coming,
Dave

GW SM Tacticals are $24 ($40 RRP) for 10 in the SM Strike Force from a US discounter which is actually very reasonable. 30% bundle discount + 30% discounter discount + no regional pricing works out to "I can actually buy this and not feel too dirty". *cough* so I bought 3 *cough*. They're going to look inferior next to the Valkir, but... I've loved Blood Ravens for years thanks to the PC games Dawn of War so I thought feth it I'll get an army of them anyway at that price. Even Land raiders came out to ~$45 in the SM SF Ultra bundle and they're a pretty beefy tank.

A Valkir + Stormtrooper + Black Widow + Hanomag + Leviathan army is going to look amazing though. I was considering a 3-tier army... fireforge feudal infantry (with sci-fi rifles) for light infantry/conscripts, stormtroopers for medium/line infantry and valkir for heavy infantry, all with a Teutonic theme.

Well, so much for GW. I think I'll be sticking with these guys from now on.

And I'm really curious to see what the other factions' equivalents to these guys are.
