How odd that one cannot double up on the pledges like you could in season 1.

You can just add the value of the extra sets (including postage if necessary) and you will be able to pick more than one set in the CKPM. CMON removed mutli options as they found it caused confusion to some backers.

TCM can also be added to Inmate for $50 plus $10 postage - which brings it to the Fugitive level anyway but they did this so that people who backed the $90 Inmate level in error at the start can get the equivalent of a Fugitive EB.

I assume that it's not just me and in fact nothing on Kickstarter has updated in over an hour. A drop in the bucket for something like Zombicide, but that could be the difference between success and failure to a small project on its final day.

Nope I noticed that as well - there's no way no one hasn't commented in an hour - I just commented on Impacts! Chibi KS without issue wonder what's up?

- edit scratch that my Impact! comment has vanished again something wrong with KS alright

I had to log out and in to see the comments.

I do find it funny how some people want to hold Zombicide to "real world physics/biology". Zombies are not exactly real world.

Seems some people have a problem with the weapons.

I think they are spot on. Sawed off

I tried logging out first thing, didn't help, the site is definitely FUBARed. Sometimes it will show you a different final comment or pledge value but then it reverts to the stuck state.

Things are a bit messed up still in the mean time another leak one of things most asked for and Im very glad they are adding them - this is legit it's hosted on CMON website.

EDIT from the email just out -
You asked for it, you got it. These new car designs will replace the vehicles in Prison Outbreak! Get ready to race around the streets!

Updated cars sounds cool, until I realize I don't know quite what that means.

Upgraded how?

Are they 3D now, instead of flat?

No just new artwork for the cards so that your not just using the Police car and the Pimp Mobile all the time - not sure how it will affect searching vehicles and that though

While its not as substantial as getting some different miniatures, I enjoy the expansions being as different as possible in content from the original

Different cars is a great thing. It never made sense to me that the only remaining cars were cop cars a "pimp mobiles".

Definitely a big fan of more car variations, but I can't shake the gut feeling these were already on board and just being used as a filler stretch goal.

I know they can't shower us with free models at every goal, but changing the graphic they are using on the car tokens after a $40K stretch feels weak.

Agreed!

But, I suppose we can't be too greedy... maybe?

We still have 24 days to to and we must already have more extras then we received in the last campaign. I am expecting a lot more filler stretch goals (but I don't blame them at all for that).

Remember when you have a huge number of backers (as this does by now) you have to go to far, far bigger stretch goals to pay for the stuff everybody who has already pledged gets

some of these 'filler' type goals will actually be used to gather cash so real give away stretches can be small enough to be possible

(eg in the Reaper Bones KS the used PDFs for a couple of stretch goals of about $200-250K which led to some grumbling, what few folk realised at the time was they were being used to break up two freebie stretch goals of $5-600K which would have looked, psycologically impossible)

I think the Dogs was a rather large freebee. We have a long way to go too.

Hmm, big expansion eh? Maybe a stealth expansion option? Such as a school?.... Or more mall tiles in the base set would be nice.

I understand how it works, and that they may feel the need to ration outt goals, with the level of insane growth the kickstarter is experiencing, but changing the art printed on a half dozen cardstock markers included in the game should have been a given in Prison Outbreak, or at least an earlier and shorter stretch goal. It's litterally a change that won't cost them anything to implement. If they said we were getting an extra sheet of new car tokens, I would have felt better about it. Alas, they are not here to serve my particular desires. I just was excited about EVERY other stretch goal, and this one fell kinda flat, to me at least.

I think Hospital is the obvious choice.

Surivors are always raiding hospitals looking for medical supplies, or the cure.

Zombie's in surgical scrubs.
Zombie nurses.
Stretchers instead of cars.
Zombie Children !!

Well CMON finally made an official statement about Season 1 promos - done not coming back.

Creator CoolMiniOrNot just now

Just to reiterate, the exclusive promos from last year are done. We won't be reissuing them, just like we won't reissue the exclusives for this one. Gullotine Games and us would rather look forward than back..

See that sucks, the kickstarter version of Season 1 is going for $300+ on ebay, and what would get me to pledge this time around.

Also, I think there's something "wrong" about having player characters be available that you can't play as

I'd also love to see the zombie models be able to be purchased separately.

They were KS exclusive models, no different to any other type of Ltd. Ed. miniature releases (or Ltd. Ed. anything really). When GW's Skullz promotion finished I didn't complain that I never got the Adeptus Mechanicus group... I just went out and found someone willing to sell them for a decent price. Why should Zombicide be any different?

 chris_valera wrote:

I'm going to assume you don't mean "individually" and just mean you wish you could buy Zombies outside of the boxed game. Well good news, you can (or will be able to shortly). They've shown box art for a "More Zombies" box, which is basically a tray of Zombies (half what you get in the boxed game). So it shouldn't be too long until you can get more Zombies if you want to.

Also, all of the player cards for the exclusive characters are available for free from GG. You simply need to proxy the models.

I for one think its pretty impressive GG is stickin to their guns in the face of such complaining. Gives them a +1 to respect in my book.

It wouldn't be worth it to GG to violate all of the Season 1 kickstarter backers by releasing them again, after they expilictly said they would not do so.

Added a bunch of proxy ideas in the Zombicide General Discussion thread.. Print the card, buy the proxy, and your golden.

While hospital is an obvious choice, I figured they'd save that for season 3 or 4
