Nyx is okay, I guess. As far as I'm concerned, she only has two skills (which, disappointingly, is still better than half of the frames available), and although they're kind of fun to play around with, they're nothing game breaking. Aesthatically speaking, she's definitely my favourite frame, but it's still difficult to find an actual reason to use her over the INFERNO CHICKEN.

As for the primes, they come with an additional polarity slot (which can be an advantage or a disadvantage, depending on what mods you plan on using, and the polarity of the new slot), and as Apostle said, they interact differently with Orokin tech... which we have yet to see yet. So there's not much to really worry about if you can't get the Primes.

Especially since the Primes look really bad with the extra helmets, and Frost's extra helmet is sooooooo good. And looks pretty cool.

I too have yet to see any drop, but ill just span people to invite me when they do it

The normal Aurora Helmet will work with Frost Prime. It just looks awful on it, because the colours for the helmet use the normal frost textures, while Frost Prime's are slightly different.

It's similar to how the Avalon helmet looks awful on Excalibur Prime.

I would recommend hoarding our keys away and saving them for some clan event of some sort.

Just bought Frost with plat. Apparently they come with Orokin reactors when you buy them outright instead of building them.

Kinda loving it. Feel wierd with the dinky little Chronus on my back, now, though. Can't wait until I get to level 2 and can buy the blueprints for the hammer. Did buy the prints for the Latron to replace my Braton. I tend to fire semi-auto anyways, so I think it'll work out better for me- need Circuits and Scrap now.

If you put up the Platinum to buy Frost, do yourself a favour and buy the Aurora Helmet. It's amazing.

Latron is a solid weapon, but it really, really needs mods to be effective. It's awful without them. Granted, every weapon needs mods to be good, but Latron has pretty much nothing of value going for it without them.

Once you do though, it really gets the job done.

Personally, I have a love affair with my full auto weapons right now. Gorgon is fantastic, and I've had some great success with Dual Vipers as my sidearm. I'm building a Grakata right now, and I know it's not exactly the most effective weapon in the world, but I do enjoy my bullet hoses.

Kind of disappointed with the Bolto/Boltor weapons. Boltor isn't bad, but I prefer the Braton of all things (Braton is just way more effective at range), and the Bolto is... meh.

I got tons of mods for Rifles. I've actually been using my Braton mkI just to try to level it to get mod access to it.

And why's the different helmets 'amazing'? Aren't they just aesthetic?

Aesthetic differences aside (although I do love the look of Frost's Aurora helmet), each helmet comes with a unique set of bonuses/penalties.

Frost's Helmet reduces your health by 5%, but increases your armour by 33%.

Essentially, that means your armour is increased by 50 points. And each point of armour is equivalent to 1% increased max health in terms of the damage reduction it gives.

In other words, the Aurora helmet is ridiculously good.

Fafnir, I'd actually recommend buying some void keys, in the 5 missions you could easily get a latron prime, frost prime (whole thing, even original event only BP) or the infamous reaper, prime gear would be fitting for a general

Oh, that's annoying! And mighty stupid! Truth be told the reason i got 2 was from playing with my friend I got the infamous unable to save glitch and was reimbursed 2 keys, just make a ticket saying the same happened to you and they'll give it too you, too many tickets with the same problem to check individual reports

As clan warlord (I love having that title) I feel it's necessary for me to need to put some of my time, effort and materials to the benefit of the clan. So during the week I'll pop down to gamestop, buy a 20€ steam card and get founders (disciple or hunter, what ever's the cheapest) I'll then be using some if not most of the platinum for clan related stuff maybe some keys, I'll then be hosting several orokin void missions. I'll also try to spend some stuff for myself but not a lot

I'll then try and upgrade to the 2nd tier founders and spoil myself rotten with plat, of course sparing a lot for the clan. All I ask in return is for people to return the effort and turn up for clan events which I plan on having weekly, or every 2 weeks. Most importantly, theres currently a mere 4 guys in the clan compared to the 12 I've invited many, look at the clan tab and you'll see an invite accept it cause after all you did ask me too

I really wish there was a trade system in place. I've gotten Vauban's main, chasis, and systems BP and I have absolutely no use for them.

DE said they'd be implementing trading at some point (although they did talk about it being somewhat limited...), so I'll hold onto the BPs for now.

If I'm rift in the patch notes for 8 they said it'll be soon and it was the reason 8 was held back, but it quickly became something that couldn't get finished in time so they released 8 and delayed it. Itll be a dojo building called the vault I think but I'm not too sure on specifics of the trading system.

Of course they'd make it part of the melon-fething dojo. Because people in clans that have less than 100 people don't deserve to trade.

Man. I just 'won' the big axe blueprints- but I have 0 Salvage, and no Gallium or Rubedo. I need a few more circuits and salvage to finish by Latron as well.

For now, I'm going to suggest no one invest any further in the Dojo. The costs are just way too absurdly high for our small clan to get anything built, and anything invested now would be a complete waste.

Once DE gets around to doing something with the Dojos (if they do anything), we can reevaluate our position then, but until that point, it's just not something our numbers are capable of financing.

I know that it sucks, missing out on a bunch of cool weapons, dueling, and other features, but DE just hasn't made them feasible for our small group.

And I guess that is the hard truth, that the dojo really isn't something we can hope of doing, for now. Why won't DE just let us have a slice of the cake that is update 8, the update I've been mist excited about has been stupid and a bad excuse to get money.

Well, I am now eagerly awaiting my new rifle. Also, managed to get a Tower Raid key on one of my trips to Venus. So yeah.

Just need the Credits and the Rubedubedo (and a little more salvage) to be able to make a Scindo- still want a Fragor, though, so might just sell the blueprints of the Scindo to help fund that.

Honestly, the Schindo is probably the better weapon.

I've heard- but the Fragor is apparently better for pure damage- and it completely ignores armour. Always, and has a longer range slam attack.

Plus, it's a big ol' hammer. I like hammers.

All charge attacks ignore armour, and the only attacks worth really using for melee weapons in mid-high levels are charge attacks anyway, so ignoring armour isn't something I'd worry about.

Outside of that, the only difference between the two is that Scindo does 3* damage to infested.

Although, personally, I prefer Gram over the both of them. Slightly faster charge time makes it have better damage output overall.

Granted, the differences between the three aren't huge enough to make taking Fragor over Scindo an overly negative choice by any means, but if you already have the blueprint for Scindo, you might as well use it and save your credits. Especially since you can get some fairly hammer-like skins for it anyway.

Yeah, I might build the Scindo anyways- like you said, I already have the prints for it... But still- Big Hammer. Always fun.

What I would suggest would be to build the Scindo now, since it's easiest available to you, and will only sell for 3.5 credits anyway. Down the line, once you get access to pluto and credits come to you faster than you can spend them, then worry about whether you want the Fragor or not.

Ah- right- That's where the Fragor is better than the Scindo- the Scindo allows Reductions to damage- the Fragor just always deals full damage- so apparently it's better against Ancients. Which I'm happy about. I hate those guys.
