What I'm asking is, did an official "We aren't doing this anymore" announcement get released?
In my country these items are tagged as " définitivement indisponible " which don't let any doubts about their disappearance from the catalogue, and this is not a status I've spotted before.
I have seen many Epic blisters outright removed from the website.

The day after I placed an order last week, I received an email listing several SG items as delayed until some dates, but others were marked as OBSOLETE. if o still have the email, I'll post it when I get home tonight (posting this from my phone)

Yes right, there is an absolute ton of stuff online for Mordheim .. even the old Citadel Journal stuff, fan made bits and pieces. In fact, the game actually requires some fan involvement (just a couple of basic changes that improve the balance/flavour of the game).

By the way, for those of you who REALLY STILL want the Repulsive, and don't mind eating some premium, they're still available from the Australian GW store.
They come up to about twice the amount you'd pay for it, i.e. you can buy any other battleship anyway. :/

I'm almost tempted to see if that would work. I imagine they region block orders though.

That, or get one of those re-exporters. Also, I think perhaps a phone call explaining the "situation", MAY solve it?
Automatically Appended Next Post:
Oh, by the way, I've done some Shapeways trawling myself and found the following:
1. BFG Pre-Heresy Strike Cruiser
Probably the nicest, most detailed, most setting-appropriate out there. And probably mentioned before.
2. Clipper Fast Transport
Has the prow design we all know and love. Though no printed samples. Also, less detail than the first one. The designer also has a couple of other designs of smaller craft with the same aesthetic.
3. Gothic Battleship
This one captures the "Gothic", quite literally. Has a few other similar designs, as well as ground-based stuff too. Designer's page has a LOT of other designs. The prow, perhaps, can be acquired from some other sculptors. (There's one done by a sculptor on Resin Addict called Zeus Prows) Combined with that prow, it'd be quite good I think.

i would hope they wouldnt, cant see a reason why they would turn away a customer thats willing to pay a premium, its not like you would be paying US pricing. I could see GW trying to block it on something that you can order from the US but in this instance it seems like its a clear case of take my money....then again GW doesnt have a track record of making it easy for people to give them money

Yeah, these are mangozacs Zeus rows for the plastic cruiser kit. I posted one of his frigates earlier.
There will be a new line of BFG (ish) minis coming out. I just have to get my gak together enough. Mang has promised to do a new frigate for it as a 'stretch goal' when I manage to put together some good concept art for a kickstarter.

I orginaly thought that this was going to be a case of eliminating the characters models and slow sellers 1st, before eliminating the core items for the games.
Apparently I was mistaken. O___O Makes you wonder what is the rhyme and reason for why some things are restocking and other things will not.
Guess I won't be making that cawdor gang in the next Necromunda Campaign unless their is some nice 3rd party models out their.

I'm curious how some folks are equating a publicly traded company phasing out an underperforming line as "GW is up for sale, you betcha!!" According to the internet, GW has been on the brink for the last 10 years!
SG's sole purpose was to support older, more niche games that GW proper didn't want to hassle with anymore. The fact that it lasted as long as it did is amazing because for the most part, nobody was buying anything from them (as evident by all the posts of "Oh I wished I had bought model X that I've been putting off for years").
The mere notion that some seem to have that it costs little to nothing for GW to keep supporting those old lines is laughable. They have to keep staff on hand, they have to maintain the already aging molds, they have manufacturing and storage costs, all for a product that moves very, very slowly. If you ask me, this one of the few signs that somebody at GW finally knows what they are doing.
