Keep up the good work! Fiberglass work can be fiddly, but I'm glad that it looks like it's going well.

So you realize that from now on, any time anyone says "Make it orky" your bike will be the first thing that comes to mind

"Within microseconds, the post-hypnotic implants in the subconscious portions of his brain were already running the pre-deployment checks, and the insides of his eyeballs lit up with telemetry data, weapon readiness status, fuel levels and a million other nuggets of information that would allow him to command this beautiful, wonderful Titan. 'How do you feel?' asked the the adept and Jonah laughed. 'It's good to be the king,' he said."

Looking pretty amazing. I stumbled on your thread trying to find a beaky motorcycle helmet.

Good luck with your build!

Hey all! The rumors of this thread's death are greatly exaggerated. Life has gotten in the way of progress, but alas! things are back on track. I actually have quite a bit of progress to report, hopefully I can get them all up of the next week. (Over fifty pictures worth!)

Also, thanks for all the kind words!

UPDATE!

First up, I started sculpting the side panels.

Once I got them smooth, I primed 'em.

Next, I smoothed the base for the glyph plates and drew out the glyphs.

followed by sculpting up the glyphs.

While I had the primer out, I hit the evil sun logo.

More updates to come very soon! All comments and criticisms are welcome.

Thanks everyone! I'm gonna try and update every day this week, and get through my backlog of pictures!

I got the jaw glyph plates done. I start with the bare plates.

I then sculpt on the glyphs.

A little filing, sanding, and primer comes next.

YAY! the finished jaw. (and a small part of the horns, more on that later)

Lastly, I tape it up for the second base coat.

That brings the jaw up to the final paint job. Up next: Horns! or, how I learned that fiberglass and Bondo kick butt together!

I seriously love this, but I have a question about all the clay work. What do you use to keep it from coming off?
